I called ASK-MINI again this week (only the second time )

They indicated that I am still good for week 28 but they had nothing further than that. Since Week 28 starts on 7/7 I was hoping they would have something more concrete than that. The nice woman did not have a status code to give me either. My MA has not offered much help either.

Anyone having better luck?

 

Not me. I've ping-ponged between week 26 and 28; A-M told me 6/30 last week; this week they tell me week 28.

Of course, I'm making the wife nutz.

 

omg omg, i just checked my status and it says im now scheduled for production!!! i ordered it on 6/8. it seems to be missing the usb/ipod option though. i asked my dealer about it a few weeks ago, and he said it was in the system. should i be concerned about this?

 

Congratulations! Where did you check? Call? Throught the OL, where?

 

i checked through the OL. im so excited!!! except for that ipod/usb option missing from the order details... i'm awaiting response from my MA about this.

 

Mine still says "on order." Dang.

I am driving my wife/children/co-workers absolute crazy. I started in Week 27 but then I got moved to week 28. Hopefully that will stick and they will start my build next week.

You're making me feel better. I ordered on June 16th but my dealer must have some allocations that are fairly close in. He promised mid-August delivery.

i've been confirmed for week 28. while i was hoping to make week 27 its better then 29!

 

Well, Dumpnrun & artp: Looks like we're in the same boat so to speak: Mine started production Sunday the 29th, scheduled for completion July 7th. I'm just happy to be moving forward!

Does that make me Week 27 (start) or Week 28 (finish)? I know, I won't give a rap once it's here...

 

i got scheduled for production as of yesterday, but dont know when it will start through the birth canal or complete production. probably in the next day or 2 it will start. does this make me week 27 or 28?

 

I, too, am in the Used To Be Week 27 Club. If you go to Week 27, you'll notice a bunch of happy people there, as their Clubmen have been accelerated from later weeks to the 27th.

So, if in August, you come across a new Clubman while you're still waiting on your MINI, he owes you a ride.

 

Well. That explains a great deal. I've just been unceremoniously kicked into Week 28. I was not kissed first. Nobody whispered sweet nothings into my ear. I did not hear so much as a "by your leave", much less an apology.

But I was told by my MA that if I ordered a Clubman it would take three to four months, minimum, for delivery. Whereas if I ordered a coupe, I absolutely would go into production by, or before, the end of June.

Tampa, if you must know . . . .

 

I might be kicked into week 29 (or later!) While last week when I called ASKMINI, and they told me definitely scheduled for week 28, today they said, "not yet scheduled for production!"

Boo hoo!

I ordered a Clubman does that mean mine should start now or later???? Ill call mini tomorrow and ask if there doing Clubmans or Minis .

 

Couldn't tell you. Why do you ask? I was calling on a quick break from what was turning out to be a hellacious day at working, hoping to get some good news about my baby, only to be told something that essentially made my day worse!

 

Well...I started to delete that post, but couldn't.

I had the same exact experience one day last week, having been told a production week and date, only to get this gent, who most adamantly said he wouldn't tell me anything. I got him yesterday and hung up rather than risk "round two." I got him again tonight (yeah, yeah, I call too much...), and didn't think to hang up. He would only tell me that I was in production, and said he didn't know the status code. Uh huh.

Anyway, sorry you had the same negative episode I did. He's the exception to the rule at ASK MINI.

 

Dumpnrun, mslatter, Reprobate: I don't think it's Clubmans (Clubmen?) getting bumped up at the expense of other MINIs getting bumped back. I ordered my Clubman and was told Week 26, then 28, then 27, then 27 OR 28, and it finally went into production Sunday. Meanwhile folks have been moving in both directions in all 3 platforms. Who knows?

 

Well, who knows what really goes on, but the hell else would we talk about other than to speculate? And the w27 support group is lousy with Clubman badges.

And I believe the correct plural for Clubman is neither "Clubmans" nor "Clubmans." It's "station wagons."

 

So I just found out I'm a week 28er too ,also this is my first post here hey everyone. I ordered a MCS. This is going to be my first car too so I'm very excited about it, all I ever driven so far are trucks and SUVs so this is gana be a big change. My cousin has a 05 MCS and just a few rides in it made me want one bad, cant wait were almost there.

Just checked my OL and I'm finally scheduled for production and I got my vin#

Just checking in for the week 28 confirmed line. Mine is going to Clearwater, FL. I already have a 06 Space Blue Cooper ("Lucky") that I'll be letting go to make room for the new Clubman.

Ordered Mid June & my MA took one of his existing clubman slots/pre-orders and modified so I didn't have to wait to long (MA = Oliver @ Ferman Mini.) It took a couple of days for the mods to gen thru to the OL. OL still doesn't show the week 28 but a MINI guy called me at home yesterday about a question I had submitted on the OEM rack for the clubman. He didn't have any new information for me on the rack but he did independently confirm my week 28 (outside of what my MA told me.)
