Week 25 anyone?
Hurricane Bertha
Well you lucky people will have your MINIs soon. Mine unfortunately is still showing awaiting transport. Maybe he is just confused on the whole boat ride. Maybe he is afraid of the water. I'll send them a life jacket if that will get him on a boat quicker. I may one day see my new MINI.
The waiting continues.
The waiting continues.
But on the bright side - Your wait just might be good . Here's the projected path of the first Hurricane of the season.

Of course, if you look at the Emden, you'll see that the Courage and Caribbean Highway will probably have to wait until first shift arrives, since the Emden sat at dock for 12 hours before work began.

Well my wife got her days mixed up, so she is not off the 14th or the 18th. This means unless they can by some miracle get the car into Nashville by this Saturday -- I'll be unable to take delivery until Saturday the 19th.
Crap that a long time:( I say play sick!!!!
That was the ETA the ship gave at its last position report, so I'd say within 2 hours of that. Keep an eye on the Charleston Vessel Report, as they'd be the first to update probably with a "Docked" message.

I find nothing
Unfortunately she can't. I have three options:
1. Rent a one way car, try to get the dealer to meet me at the rental place in Nashville, and go alone. This assumes that my wife wouldn't have to be present for me to sign for the car. I think I put her name on the loan through the credit union?
2. Wait until the 19th.
3. Hope to hades it gets to Nashville by friday so I can pick it up this saturday. (what are the odds here folks? arriving Charleston midnight tonight, to the VDC tomorrow... to Nashville by Friday? Slim?)

How great is this?

I thought I'd check out the port-of-Charleston report---the date has changed for Caribbean Highway.
From July 8 ....to .....July 7.

My wife's MINI is on the Courage and I think she guessed right her MINI will probably arrive on the 15th. The day our dealership is sponsoring a track day (along with the local club) where we get to drive our MINIs on a local Go-Kart track. Lots of fun, but will probably mean pick up on the 16th. We shall see, It took at least a week for my MINI to arrive in '05.

I think (hope) your chances are very good for this weekend. I think you'll know something definite by Wednesday, July 9. I'm sure I read somewhere here that the dealership receives a daily fax from the VDC each morning for dealership's ETAs. Here's to good thoughts for you!
