New to the Mini world (boy it's small in here) =]
Hello.
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Derek and I hail from the far off land in the midwest, in a little town called Chicago. Born and raised in the Windy City, I am a true Cubs fan and car enthusiast. Graphic Designer by day, sleeper by night. =-]
I have had a slew of fun cars starting with a 1994 Mustang, Scion xB, Infiniti G35 Coupe, and now a 2006 Mini Cooper S. Automatic, Chili Red with white top and mirrors.

And here is a picture of my previous car on 20s.

Thanks. I work for an advertising agency and Mini did a campaign with us here in Chicago. When the copies of the ads went down I asked for them. The one that you see there was actually a back-lit diorama. Unfortunately i don't have a back-lit frame or else that would be awwweeeesome.
Anyway, I did manage to get an extra two aside from the one in my garage. Might keep an extra one, so i guess that means i do have one to spare.

Nice rides Derek, both of 'em. Good choice going with the Mini, though, especially if you like attention. Minis turn heads for sure!

thanks for the warm welcome everyone. i appreciate it. i can't wait to start upgrading. Tints and rims are first. 
I know it's not as fast as my old mustang or G35, but hodoggie is this car fun to drive! Tons of character too. Love it!!
