Magic 8 ball or....

maybe a Ouija board

Don't know what port for OH, but should be NY or Charleston. Your order form should have something that says "Port Loc."; mine says NYCPOA.

I'm leaving the body shop.... Paint comes next! Wonder if that will make me an official member of the BRG club at that point ;-)

Made my lunch call... In body shop and still scheduled for May 27th. Starting to believe it now. Now just have to get comfortable with the week or so wait for boat and 2ish weeks at sea. But at least we can track the boats. This is nuts. Any of you guys and gals planning on any aftermarket goodies, whether for looks or safety or performance....? I heard the money for factory performance and brakes and handling were not worth the money so I will be upgrading those after she gets and good 1-2k mile break in. Haven't decided which stripes to get either, am leaning towards Viper style down the middle.

Talked to a person today. I guess mine started production yesterday. I just went with the bonnet stripes (wasn't too fond of the racing stripes. maybe if they were offset). Not sure if I'll put anything extra on it, but it's just-a clubman. It's not supposed to be too flashy anyway.

Congrats jamz9987! I'm scheduled to finish the same day, so my MCS should be sailing down the line w/your MCC. We'll see what ships they get put on (though it looks like yours has a much longer trip to take )

Looking forward to passing my civic on to my wife as an everyday car. It fits her and the 3 boys fine. The suburban would then be reserved for family stuff. Figure the doctor's appt she took a kid to cost $14 in gas.

I'm looking forward to the drive in my new clubman. It was much more fun to drive than my civic. Only 5 or 6 weeks left (maybe).

Aha! CHSPOA - is that Charleston Port Authority?

FINALLY - the Owner's Lounge lists my Clubbie as "Scheduled for Production", and he/she has a VIN. It's happening... IT'S HAPPENING... I'm going to go do some breathing exercises...

Pretty sure. Doesn't sound like New York. If the owners lounge has it listed, it must be at least 2 days into production. I think we all need to meds to keep us calm though. Waiting for the OL to show my vin; I know it started production yesterday.

Well, I'm in the paint shop as of this morning. This info from the automated system. Although it is still waiting, it sure is nice to hear something different every time I call instead of in production. I think she is officially Chili Red today.

I think I'm a day behind you... Must have needed time to empty the Red Chili from the spray guns and load the British Racing Green...

I'm posting in part to bump this up. Maybe other week 22 people will join us. My wife is really starting to notice other Minis when she is driving around. We were driving the civic today; those things are everywhere.

There certainly has been a lot of movement from week 22, usually in the right direction . ASK-MINI still says estimated completion 5/30, so I'll call tomorrow and speak to a human for a real update! The waiting is getting old, and my wife is tired of hearing about it.

Happy Memorial Day everyone

My wife is the same way, she just smiles and snickers at me on the phone. I am wondering if they have been off all weekend over the pond too. I have been in the paint shop for a few days now... hoping I get something new tomorrow as I was scheduled for completion on Tuesday... my gosh it's almost here. Got to figure out how to track that boat and find those video camera links...

ASK-MINI still says in production with est. complete of 5/30. Person on the phone said the same. Patience sucks.

My morning call landed me in assembly. The rep asked me a lot of questions today. Never had that happen before. This was as of the last update the system had which was May 24th... maybe new news later today as she was supposed to be finished already according to his system...

yes patience sucks esp when you don't have a choice

Hi – I am new here and very excited about my first MC, originally it was for the wife, but it has overtaken me. I place my order 5/13 at Morristown MINI in NJ, great to deal with. I ordered a MINI S Convert Sidewalk with Nav, Cold and Conv package.

Just got off the phone with ASK-MINI and was told it went into production today. It should be done by next Tuesday, not sure what week that me week 22 or 23 and hope to take delivery by month end.

Anyway found this site to be very informative, helpful and wanted to say thanks…

Welcome to the group. I think you could got either with the weeks. Feel free to hang with us. goatdog seems to hang in both. Either way you will be hanging with a bunch of obsessed/impatient future mini owners. Pass the meds.

Found out that mine went to paint last Friday, and is still scheduled for completion tomorrow....

They asked me a lot of questions on the ASK MINI line today too. Wonder if they had a post-holiday process change?
