Ship tracking

You can follow your ship all the way across the Atlantic unitl it reaches the Panama Canal.

Click this link: http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shi...html?call=SIVY

Change the default 240 hours to 1. Then click Update. Your captain will report the ship's position every 6 hours and it will show the time on this map. She is currently just off the coast of France heading toward Spain.

So now you need obsess over it's location only 4 times per day!

Thanks for the cool tip, although it's dangerous to keep feeding our obsession!

Updates

Well.... if you think that checking the status of your ship every four hours for the next two weeks is titillating, just wait until the ship arrives at the Panama Canal!

There are live cameras at the Atlantic locks (Gatun), at the Cerro-Luisa high bridge (the only highway connecting North and South America), and at the Pacific locks (Milaflores). Instead of merely following a red dot across the Atlantic, you can actually see your ship!

You may as well call in sick now for June 3rd - or take that "personal day" off you've been saving up.

Hey dhoosee,
Mine finished production on 5/14, and the OL says I'm in transit even though I can't be found on the WW site. So I'm thinking I'm on one of those K-Line boats, although from what I could tell I would have somehow had to have made it on the 5/16 departure since the next one doesn't leave until 5/27. But maybe I'm reading the schedule wrong. Do you have a booking number for the Integrity? That way I can scroll through the VIN's. I'm in the Midwest also(Twin Cities), so it would be cool if we're on the same boat. I might have to call my MA and bug her

Love the name, Weinerdog!

I dont see why you wouldn't be on the Integrity....we're both sitting on the dock waiting! Unless one of us was thrown onto another ship due to lack of space....

The info that I had in my post was right off of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website from this morning. My booking number is GBSOU638659 on voyage # EB821-ITG. Try the W-W website again now, because I was getting nothing until this morning. Enter your VIN @ this site: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto
and, hopefully, your pup will pop up!

Let me know what you find. Would like to have a "shipmate" to correspond with whilst we track them across the water.

no dice

Not showing up on the WW site still. Thanks much for posting the booking number, dhoosee . Ask-Mini has said 'en route' for 2-3 days now(and I figure that's usually a bit delayed), so I really really hope I'm not sitting on the dock still.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Worst case, we're at the dock now, and we leave on the 26th.....

And then wait.

A Photo of Car Carrier Integrity

For all that will be boarding the Integrity in Southampton, here is a photo of her

She wears the ARC livery (American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier), the company's name. ARC works in conjunction with WW, thus the ability to get info from WW's website.

This is from ARC's website :

Through a space charter arrangement with our sister company Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), ARC transports finished automobiles, as well as agricultural, construction and other high and heavy equipment for some of the world's leading manufacturers.

Three more days, and we'll be on our way!

Integrity

Hmm...when I check the booking number I only see 50 VIN's listed. Computerdoc, you're seeing 96? Maybe it's an Id10t error on my part. I wonder what kind of mileage that boat gets...

Integrity Call Sign

Does anyone have the call sign for Integrity?

If you search for the ship on Sailwx by name, you get 70 listings (that's a LOT of Integrity....). Tracking by call sign would be much more helpful....

computerdoc, you're finding the 119 listed on the sailwx site? How do you find the VIN listing on there? I only see the same 50 on the WW site.

I'm finding 107 on the ww site, using booking number GBSOU638644. Pages and pages of VINs. They appear to be underway.
