I didn't, but my MA confirmed today that ours is on a KLine boat that is/was supposed to hit Baltimore today! Now I have a old Toyota to sell pronto..

 

Still waiting...it's on a truck on the way here so they say.

My girl is on Courage and due in to NY tomorrow. My MA estimated one week for her to arrive at dealership. I've owned 5 cars, and have never anticipated arrival of any of them like I have GoGreen! T minus 8 days and counting?

Hey Weinerdog----Looks like we've been on the same ship after all! The Western Highway is scheduled to dock in Charleston a couple of days after Baltimore! YAY for us!

 

Minibeth.. looks like we were on the same boat. the good news is that the courage arrived! i just checked the W&W site and tracked the car via my VIN. I was lucky, the turnaround time has been quick - i placed my order on 5/5.
Looks like we'll be motoring sooner than we thought :-)

mikey0630 - OMG! Our ship has some in!!! Now comes the hardest part of the wait! I've been warned that this phase of the process is the least predictable. You are right about the turnaround - it has been very quick - my order was placed 5/3.

 

Awesome for all of us on the Courage! I am hoping my MA was right that it'll be ready on the tenth.

 

beth - how has it been least predictable? I ordered from MINI of manhattan and i'm assuming that since the cargo ship docked somewhere nearby, i should get the vehicle relatively quickly. Since you live in VA, it might take an extra day to transport...

what is the usual time frame for the distribution center to dealer? has it ever been 2-3 days? if so, i just might be motoring this weekend

 

From what I've read, the cars are quickly unloaded, but the time in and out of the distribution center varies. If the car suffered any damage during transit , it could take a week to get it out of the dist center. Or it could take a day or two. But unlike the manufacturing process and atlantic transit, there is no way to know the status of our cars... until they show up at the dealership. We could be getting calls this weekend (I'm near Philly) or late next week. Got my fingers crossed.

 

Hey Mikey0630 - I just heard from my MA - my car is going to be released to be transported to the dealership today or tomorrow, and I should be able to take delivery monday or tuesday next week (I have some accessories they are going to install at the dealership). YEEHAA! next weekend - road trip to the Rohoboth Beach!

I spoke to my MA too, looks like my car will also be available next week too. i also just purchased insurance, but unfortunately the company doesn't sell GAP insurance. know anyone who does?

OL just updated to say that Tweek is at the distribution center, and that my car is due in on the first! Still no word from my MA.

 

omg, it's getting so close i can taste it..... June 3rd will be at the VLS!!

 

Hey everyone, build week 23 here.... my car is looking to be born on the 5th, there is a ship leaving on the 6th... what do you think my odds of are sneaking onto the ship?

Figured you guys would know best.

If i don't get on the 6th there is another leaving on the 10th.

 

Difficult to predict. I got lucky and managed to get on a ship that day (5/30); others have waited days. Next ship for me would have been six days later, so I can't complain

 

Looks like the Boheme left Southport on 5/22, will hit LA on 6/10. Currently (5/31 afternoon) the ship is a bit SouthWest of Puerto Rico, headed for the Panama Canal.

Should be offloaded by 6/11 when the boat heads north to Tacoma.

Received an email from my MA on friday. She said that she would be setting up appt for delivery on monday or tuesday. I'm ready! Very ready!

 

That's awesome minibeth! So...only 3-4 days between the boat landing and delivery...wow. Mine was on a KLine that landed yesterday, but my MA called today and said to allow a week for the truck to MN and a week for prep at the dealer. Either way, that would still make it only 8 weeks instead of the 10 we were told originally.

Update: just checked the OL - it changed to 'at distribution center', with an expected delivery date of 6/4! YES!!!!!
