If the perky compu-voice told you that, it's probably closer to being done thank still in the paint shop.

Hi!! You guys all ready to go?
oh I'm ready.

even with the slight delay of the ship, my car should still arrive at my mini dealer and be ready for delivery before I even arrive to Seattle... I'll probably be on my ride out when I get the call...

the MA told me that week 23 is the start of production!
why would anyone care who is where. As been said, we all have interest in the same thing!!!

What defines me as week 23? Getting my car before anyone in week 24! And why would there be any issues if we have a bond! BTW, Sneaker is at the port of departure!

No, I talked to someone not just the automated voice. How long did it take after the paint shop before anyones car was released to port?

I was going to ask how you knew this (the last known position shown on the www.sailwx.info web is from over a year ago, so clearly that site doesn't work for tracking!), but I thought I'd some some Googling first. I came up with this site which pinpoints the ship exactly: http://www.shipais.com/showship.php?mmsi=265491000. But, presumably this won't work once the ship leaves the UK coast?

For those of you who claim their car is on the Sierra Nevada Highway (kline) how did you find that out? Does your lounge page show enroute? Curious how you know that.

I called ASK-MINI on the 6th and was told it was almost finished and should be completed in a couple of days and then off to be transported in a couple of weeks.

True to their word, I called again on the 8th and the automated voice said it's been completed and was waiting to be released to the carrier.

I checked on the 10th at the Wallenius Wihlmsen site just to see if my VIN # would be accepted and there it was, scheduled on the ASIAN CHORUS and ready to board!

I get bored... http://www.john-ambler.com/ais/google.html

Mignon is the upper yellow mark on the lowest left side. Or you can click on the "Ships underway" link for the Mignon and it'll take you to it. This one only works for the area immediate of Isle of Wright, once it leaves the screen, you need to use sailwx or another AIS site. I haven't found another site just yet, but I might when Chorus leaves tomorrow. It's much easier to use than the shipais website.

That's what I'm wondering cooperfan. We are supposed to be brothers...maybe we are on there!?

I just got off the phone with ask-mini. The lady was fairly certain that I'm on a boat....she couldn't tell which one. So...that's encouraging, but still no guarantees. Still strange to me that they can't track these things a little better.

Ahh well!

Yeah! I'm having a hard time figuring out where it is in the ocean though. Can you tell on that map? What's that big body of land above it lol?

Looks to me like the body of land is the UK and below it is France. But that's not on the view. So it's not gotten awfully far yet, but that data appears to be up to 4 days old.

If we are on that ship we are roughing it...look at this rusty thing!

Woohoo!! I am so darn lucky to be on the same boat with you Krim! Now I know PeeWee is safe with Yuko and all the others because their parents-to-be are tracking their carrier's every move.

AIS (Automatic Identification Service) is a VHF FM based transponder system. It is effectively limited to the curvature of the earth, so yes once the vessel is more than 10-15 miles (very high antennas on RO/ROs) the shore based stations will "lose" the contact.

Awaiting transport on 6/2, and nothing on WW, so I am hoping for a K-Line (Sierra Nevada would be nice).

StarryEyed, Are you going to add hot pink accents?

I want to add something to both the top and sides but don't know exactly how i'm gonna accomplish a custom set of decals. I haven't had much luck e-mailing cooper flags yet. I'm gonna have to try again.

Oh, we are a safe bunch, easy to get along with. Not a bad apple in the bunch... well, except for those convertibles, i hear they drop their tops at every possible moment, exposing themselves to anyone and everyone who will look at their shiney, lustery leatherette.

Scandalous i tell you.

My boy (no name yet) was born yesterday and according to the WW site tracking, he was booked on the Mignon and is now sailing with Nugget and Chernobyl's Mini! I can't believe he got on board this quick ... I'm freaking out! This is incredible!
