i still haven't gotten any packages... I'm keepin my eyes pealed.

I've only got 1170 miles. I've started testing the turbo... I still haven't put it in sport mode, or taken it over 4500 yet though...

I'm searching high and low for someone who has their amber side marker lights lying around, I want to get rid of my clear ones.

Something like these except not from them, (s/h starts at $20). I'm hoping they dont cause a bulb burned icon on the tach. I know the plate lights can't be LED though, so i haven't picked a bulb for that position.

Saturday I changed the oil at 2000 miles. It was ridiculously easy. I was a little concerned about the oil filter housing location, I really expected it to be the cause of a major mess. I cracked the housing and allowed the accumulated oil to drain. A small amount dripped on to the transmission, easily cleaned.

Just too easy!

hmm.. i think i need a badge holder, i dont know why i haven't gotten one yet.

and those plate look totally fake. though, i probably should put my own plates on the car, i've had them for weeks now.

I'm still debating whether or not I should get personalized ones or not... I'm thinking KRIM/R56 or 0823/R56
"/" being a half space.

Don't worry - I'm still here as well. Started a new job (same carrer, just new broker/dealer) in July so I've been a little absent.

I have to confess that I got my package over a week ago! Sorry for not letting you guys know.

I have a few little goodies to add soon so I'll keep you posted.

Nice badges you guys!
Love your plates too! Very nice!

I still haven't gotten any packages.. even my Vanity plate is taking too long!

Oh well.. keeping myself preoccupied. Took PeeWee sightseeing a couple of weeks ago. I think he loved it.

around page 160-- Dance got a call that they were taking Ziggy and giving her a new one. she was told she wasn't supposed to have been sent Ziggy!! He has a 3" scratch that was "filled" the wrong way and because of that they were going to replace the whole car! and BMW was to pay for all the re-licensing and everything...

What?? First Ziggy got sent to a different port and now they tell her he wasn't even supposed to be sent in the first place?? And all because of a scratch somewhere? What a load of... !! Why would they go through all that trouble? Hmmm... something's fishy..

My first thought too.... but part of the reason it took so long to get, was because of the scratch, and they were holding him because of it... and that may have been why he went to the wrong port.... Dance spoke with ASK MINI and they gave the full story, the dealer has neglected to inform her of the details until now...... and it all seems to be legit... though I really thought the dealer was up to something... but I guess it was all going to work out...

Got mine today!

Mine was a little over 2 months. Not bad considering the Owner's Lounge has never shwn that the car has been delivered!
