Leaving now to pick-up my SS/B MCSC.

Cloudy with light rain in NJ but will try to get some pics up later.

It's mine, all mine!! Driven less than 300 miles and I'm in love already! Dealer still owes me bonnet strips. I canceled the driving lights....$950 with installation , not worth it to me. Drove it home from DC area (about 240 miles), got 37mpg (actual calculated by topping off the tank) and that was with some country roads and some AC factored in. So I ham totally pleased with the MPG so far. I'm almost 59 years old and this is the coolest car I've ever owned, bar none. See largerimages in my gallery.

She is a beauty - a bigger version of what I'm driving for the next 24 hours - kind of makes me wish I'd stayed with this classic color combination. Very nice looking Clubman, leicaguy and may you continue to have many happy miles of motoring! And I'm sure you will.

Thanks, but it's not a Clubman. My wife is ordering a Clubman next week. We'll be a 2 MINI family!

Well, better late than never you two! I got my first MINI when I turned 50 - and the rest is history.

Congrats again and don't lose touch with your shipmates, OK?

Thanks, appreciate it. You know there are so many really good color choices that it's hard to narrow them down. I love the Sparkling Silver with Black - very classic looking.

Congratulations everyone. I have some pictures in my gallery. I was so freaked out driving it/him (I think his names going to be Dexter after the TV show) home. As if someone would spontaneously crash into to me. I tried to keep reminding my self that it was just a normal day and that the 6th gear and the different reverse were no big deal.

You've got an extremely lovely and sophisticated MC Clubman there! Congratulations - and I do understand your slight feelings of paranoia, too. Having only had mine for two days, I am quite aware of my parking spaces.

I REALLY like your color combination and think that the Cooper Clubman is quite beautiful - especially its bonnet.

Thanks OTRA! I'm digging your BRG/Black combo too. I absolutely LOVE my MINI. I think my coworkers are breathing sighs of relief...I don't think there has been one day in the last two months that I've been silent about it.

I sure hope so. I sort of miss you guys on here - too bad we can't all have a reunion or something.

Where's Catawba - save me from my Google maps - is it near the Annapolis area at all...we do go there fairly often due to our daughter's college.

i'm sure by now everyone has gone through their first tank of gas

are you using premium like the little sticker says? is there any real difference? are you getting waved at (and waving back)
it's time for an update, how's everyone doing?

i'm at 1 wave from another mini (+1 from a little kid)
and my first tank of gas brought me 347 miles (lots of idling while i played with settings / sat in traffic) and my second tank has already surpassed that with 3 bars left

I use 91 octane, but I'm still on my first tank. Haven't had too much driving to do in this last week, but I will soon.

Happy motoring and full speed ahead!
