Welcome to NAM. Do you own a MINI, have one on order or just interested in learning more about them?

I did alot of research, mostly word of mouth from this site and picked up an '08 Clubman S earlier this week. The Clubman worked out better since we have 5 and 8 year old boys. I'm 6'4 and nobody could sit behind me in the Cooper. So far we dig it....especially the mileage!!

Lovely MINI you have there!!! I think the two tone silver looks very classy on the Clubman.

So I'm being nosy I know, but......Is your first name Race? If it is that's REALLY cool. My 6 year old son's name is Rayce. It's not a name that you run into very often.

Sorry, RaceFace is a nickname I got years ago from my friends for my motorcycle riding technique. The name has just stuck. My real name is Scott.

As far as your sons name, thats awesome!! I would have loved to do something like that with our boys.

Thanks for the compliments!

NAM is the place to be.

Nice ride, classy is a perfect description. Does it handle better due 2 the longer wheel base? Silver on silver, say no more. Always been my favorite!

Posted before but didn't introduce myself!

Hello: I've been on the site for several months, have gotten a lot of help, and even found a wonderful Mini (R52) for my husband here. His is yet to be delivered (we're waiting for a truck), but I have a 2008 Convertible (Sidewalk) which I got at the beginning of January. I LOVE it, and the few times I've let my husband drive it https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s/thumb-up.gif
convinced him to take me up on it when I started to look for one for him. We figure we will now have room in our small garage for three cars instead of having it be tight for two.

Just thought it would be a good time to introduce myself since we're really a Mini family now!

We're in Minnesota, and because of a few days in the 40s -50's I've actually had the top down several times.

This is a great site. Thanks.

Barbara

Unfortunately I haven't driven anything else but the Clubman, so I dont know. I do know it handles better than the lowered '06 Mustang GT Convertible that we just got rid of.
