They used vesseltracker which lets you track your ship... they also have pics of the ship on the site.

From this image, it's about 200 miles from port.

According to the schedule for this ship, it had a different route than most vessels.



Notice how it left Southampton then went to Bremerhaven then off to Charleston while the other ships started off at Bremerhaven. The point is that it actually left Southampton on the 22nd of March... so if your car wasn't completed by that date and if this schedule is accurate, then you aren't on this ship. Mine could have just made it.

Well, today is my MA's day off.. so I never did get confirmation that Bruiser is even on this ship. He comes to work at 9am tomorrow though.

Well, I can't seem to get any confirmation of anything for sure. Was trying to be patient and wait for a call, but then DH got all excited and called our MA who was with a customer and was supposed to call back. Waited all day, no call. Hmmm... strike 1! Guess I'll have to assume we're with you guys and hope for the best since we were at the dock since 3/17. Glad somebody's got some info.!

My MA sent me an email today - "Your MINI has been shipped, and is currently on a boat on its way here to the states!"
Based on the fact that I still get nothing from entering my VIN on the WW site, I am almost positive I'm on a K-Line ship. By process of elimination based on my date of completion and date of departure of the K-Line ships, I believe Stella is travelling on the Western Highway, due into Charleston on April 3rd! Whooo-Hoo!
OK...back to my book now. Yeah, right!

 

My girlfriend and I just discussed this and came to the same conclusion right before I logged on. This would put us in Charleston on the 3rd of April!!! Just six days from now. I think it takes about 3 days to get thru VDC then about 2 days on a vehicle to the dealer... then a day or two for prep from the Dealer. So, we're looking at about the 10th of April before we get our bundles of joy! That would be exactly 30 days from the day I ordered my MINI.

Okay.. I'm getting way ahead of myself I'm sure. I'd feel a lot better if at least one of us can confirm we are on this ship. 9:01 am tomorrow my MA will be getting a call. I'll give him a minute to get some coffee.

OK, we're definitely on!!! Seems our MA left a message on our cell phone which is not turned on when we're home. K-Line, Western Highway, Voyage 15B, departed Southhampton 3/22, arrives Charleston 4/3, ETA to dealer approx. 4/9, and Pick-up 4/9,10 or11, depending on schedules!

Feeling much better now...Party on, shipmates!

 

I got the same confirmation from my MA as well. In fact he called my cell phone too.

But I was pretty reassured by Bruiser sending the e-Postcard.

I'm having an "I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY MINI!" moment!

 

I've been getting those more and more lately. I'm so anxious I'm beside myself.

I saw this youtube of this guy (with the same color combination) that obviously loves his MINI and video's it as he drives from his garage and back... slowly. I thought it was so lame.. but now, I know exactly how he must have felt. I think I'm going to be worse.

 

Well, some of us have landed at the port of Charleston and currently at the VDC. Wish we could get status of when they might be leaving there. Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get my MINI sometime this week.

Guess we'll just have to watch and wait...

I'll be calling my MA tomorrow to see if he can give me a good estimate of delivery.
I sure am ready for my MINI... sigh.
