Woo, hoo! Shipmates! I posted the drop-off schedule in my previous post! Also, I finally found Independence II last night on vesseltracker.com. She's in port at Belgium. Will be leaving there today, 3/23, to arrive load and depart Southampton tomorrow, 3/24.

I'll start a new thread for Independence II.

Interesting, my tracking info has changed the ship to Independence II, arriving in Baltimore a couple of days later - I guess Elektra was filled just ahead of mine.

Your baby could very well disembark at NY or Baltimore.

Also, I'm checking week-11 support group's thread. Several of them are waiting, too, and might have some info for us.

I know for sure that both K-line and WW serve the east coast, as the Charleston port schedule shows both lines coming in there (can't speak to NY or Baltimore, though). So, if you don't show up on WW by tomorrow, call your MA. Hang in there! We still have a few more weeks to go.
Well, I found a few others here that have purchased and posted here in NAM that bought from the same dealer as I did... and their cars went to the Charleston port VDC. Perhaps mine was finished too late to board the Independence II. Well, I'm glad to hear you got on though especially since you ordered much sooner than I did and you have a longer trip ahead of you. Good luck.

Harold47, we are in the same boat, or I should say, NOT in the same boat. Stella was completed on 3/17 and is still waiting on the docks for a carrier.

Looks like our three cars are playing hookie. Maybe they're out having a Finished Production brew prior to boarding. Bruiser was completed on the 19th and is still at the docks. I checked with my MA and he couldn't tell me anymore than that but he did confirm it would be coming to Charleston's VDC. Depressing to see others in our production week get on board while we miss the boat.

I called my MA just a bit ago and was told the same thing. Stella will also be coming through Charleston, once she actually gets on a boat! He told me that the trip from SC to OH will take anywhere from 8-10 days, so I'm thinking at best she's still at least 2 1/2 to 3 weeks away. UGH!

So, your MAs don't yet know which ship(s) you'll be on? Interesting. See my note on All Aboard IndependenceII thread. I THINK Madame Butterfly is still in port at Southampton, and Indepence II is also running behind schedule.

Since our babies will all be coming through Charleston, I plan to check that ship schedule in Charleston to see whether arrival dates get changed: http://www.port-of-charleston.com/vessel_schedule.asp. You need to scroll down, but all the vehicle carriers are clumped together.

It has been 11 days that I've been "Awaiting Transport" according to my MA and Ask-MINI and the OL. My heart (and a whole bunch of wishful thinking and crossed fingers) is telling me that Stella is on her way already, possibly on a K-Line ship.

Thanks on the sig! I like light blue ... Might be because I'm a Tarheel!

Western Highway left just before Independence, and I see that Emden is nearing Southampton. I know Western will come to Charleston. Can't remember about Emden ... Hang in there!

Yes, that is a nice siggy. ^_^

Wish Brusier would jump on a boat soon... week 13's production completion is tomorrow for a few of them. Looks like I'll be traveling with them unless I can get on the Emden. *crossing fingers, toes and eyes!

As of 7:10 am the OL says we're "En Route". I honestly stared at the page for about 3 minutes, not really sure if I was reading it right! It would be nice to know when she actually left, but again, I'm thinking possibly K-line a few days ago.
Always listen to your heart...

OMG OMG OMG!!!

Stella and Bruiser must be hanging out together because after reading your post I checked the OL and I see he's finally En Route too!!!!!!!!

*BIG GRIN*

Hope I can get my MA to tell me which ship since the WW site still shows nothing on my VIN. I wish K-line was as easy to check as WW.

Ditto! As of 7:36AM, OL finally reports "En Route" for us as well! Did a double take just like you -- Thought we were one of the last ones left behind after sitting on the dock since 3/17! No ship info. yet, hoping to hear from our MA today with more. Looks like there's a Manhatten Bridge on the K-Line and a Western Highway on Carolina Shipping (?) arriving in Charleston on 4/3 - all just guesses at this point. Woohoo --Progress!!!

Hi everyone

I am new here ordered my mini on 3/15/08 was in production stage 3/19/08 was told on 3/27/08 it was in the body shop should be completed by 3/29/08. I am not sure if I am posting in the right forum not sure which week I really am.

I am totally impatient I want my mini and I want it now. I think it was easier waiting to order then after I ordered.

I called Ask Mini yesterday and plan on calling them again today to see if my mini is in the paint shop and how long it will be in the paint shop before it is completed.

Does any of you have any advice on what to do and how to wait patiently. I would appreciate all of your input.

I think you'd be week 13 as I've seen others of your production completion in that thread. Good luck with your MINI... and your nerves.

Something tells me that we are sailing together. Please post once you get an update from your MA's. I'm afraid to call mine again...I'm sure he thinks I have no life with how many times I've pestered him already!

No such thing as PATIENTLY... I told myself to start a book to keep myself off of NAM for at least a while. Made it to page 12 and now it's sitting on the table next to me with my trusty laptop right back where it's comfy!

It's wonderful having this support system. I told myself I need to give it a break here at home. Was driving DH bananas. On Monday I started making an effort to cut back on my Stella obsessing. Was so sweet when last night DH asked, "Do you know where Stella is?" He's making great progress referring to her by name...

Seeing how OL states "En Route" this morning for the first time and that OL has always been late, we could be on a ship already underway.

But their terms are very general. Awaiting transportation doesn't mean it was actually sent to the dock to wait... it merely means it has finished production. This may be the reason some others that finished production after us got on a boat before us... maybe they do first come first served and our babies took their time getting to the dock.

Now, En Route should only mean they are on the ship though the ship may not actually be moving yet. I wonder if it might also mean booked but not actually on board.

I hope today isn't my MA's day off...

Dang.. that would be so awesome. I could be getting Bruiser by the end of the second week of April if he's on that ship.

MA's isn't in the office yet... sigh.

So, is that four of us that were just recently told by OL that we are En Route? Stella, Bruiser, child of 3DogDepot, and child of harold47

Oh, I hope y'all are en route! You've been hanging for a while ...Keep pestering your MAs. They go through this with every shipload, I'm sure, as my MA told me. Also, logic dictates the sooner they can find out and tell you, the sooner you'll stop bugging them. At least until arrival in the U.S.
