Crossing over from Evo land into the world of the Mini...

Well about 5 weeks ago I made a HUGE decision to sell my built 05 Evo 8 RS for a Mini Cooper S. Needless to say, it wasnt easy and I didnt have much support from the local car guys, but I know I could make a Mini pretty badass and that they were so underrated and underestimated. My evo was the highest whp evo in the country running a 20g9-5 turbo (essentially a modded stock turbo), she made 384whp/360tq on pump gas only, it was caged, full suspension, about $4k in JDM goodies, and the list goes on. Obviously it was a hard decision, but I couldnt be happier!!!

Here's a few shots of the Evo before she left with the winter wheels on it. I had 18x9.5 Rota P45r's on it for the summer...

And as of 5 weeks ago I picked up the newest project...03 MCS, Dark Silver/Black Roof, cold weather pkg, xenons, comfort handles, every option available...

So far she has a magnaflow 2.5" stainless steel cat-back, a K&N Typhon intake kit, Alta 2.0 17% pulley, Yellow headlight film, smoked tails, smoked 3rd brake light, smoke reverse light, smokes reflectors on all 4 corners. Thats all she has at the moment, but definitely BIG plans in the future..thinking stage 4 by late spring. Anyways on with the pics...

Congratz on the Mini. That is one bada$$ evo but I am sure you will have lots more fun driving the Mini. You should first ditch those heavy wheels and get yourself some lighter wheels and tires. A rear sway bar and front camber plates will get you going.

You're going to miss that Evo. They're not much to look at (and never could be), But there is no substitute for AWD, and yours apparently had great power.
