Amen

I ordered a clubman on Dec 18th, I was#10 in line for my dealer supposedly. I called ask-mini Monday morning and I am scheduled for week 7 right now... I hear ya man, this wait is killing me, right now I am stuck with a `99 ford taurus wagon after someone ran a light and totaled my WRX long ago. Thank god I can do 90% of my transportation without a car but oh the places I could go if I had another car worth driving.

Man, that's horrible. From a WRX to a Taurus!! How awful!! Is your Clubman an "S"?

I just got a production number... it's on order but no production number yet. I still have my '06 MC until my new one arrives - so my motoring itch is scratched.

I decided against getting an S, cars will always be slow in comparison to my speed machine, BMW K1200S. Since my Clubman is for rare trips to the suburbs and road trips, might as well get better gas mileage in a great handling car

Has anyone's Owner's Lounge status updated to "Scheduled for Production" yet? I called ASK-MINI last week and spoke to a live person and they said I'm scheduled for the week of February 4th, but the OL still has me as "On Order". The automated system at ASK-MINI says scheduled for production with no confirmed date. I don't get it - how can I be scheduled for something, but they don't know when? Doesn't scheduled mean that a date has been set?

Mine went in to "scheduled for production" the day after production started. Mine is due to be completed on the 23rd...

Mine also says "On Order" and when I talked to ask-mini just now they are still saying Week 7. My impression is the week they are telling us is when your dealer's allotment is scheduled but it is not yet set in stone yet as they might be back-ordered on options or sumin when it comes time to get it on its way through the plant.

I know - I am just realizing how lucky I am.

I actually just called again and asked to speak to a customer relations person - they confirmed this and said it is due for completion tomorrow (the 22nd) so I am hoping that in a month I will be driving my new MCS! Helps I am on the East Coast too

Looks like I've been moved up a week somehow! I hope he's right...

Fast Production

I also ordered on 1/12 with a finish date of today (1/22). Wonder why so fast? I thought it would take a lot longer. Especially in the beginning stages. About how much longer until I take delivery do you think? I am in Northern Virginia.

I'm also in week 6 according to the rep. That means the week of 2/4. Patience has never been my strong suite. I'm waiting on a DS/W MCS with most of the goodies. Once at the dealer, its getting the JCW engine kit, driving lights and the JCW aero front bumper.

I finally ordered a MCS Pepper White 6 spd today. And I checked the owners lounge page from miniusa, but the owners manual is still for 2007, is that right? I thought there will be owners manual for 2008 along rest of years.
