New member saying HI

Well my wife has wanted a Mini for some time...I decided to get her an early Christmas present...plus I figured I already drive one of the LARGEST vehicles on the planet (I tow a 35' long 9000# travel trailer with it) I needed to give the world a little 'balance'...so I got her the MINI!

Here's a few pictures I snapped of our vehicles...small, medium and LARGE!

Looking forward to learning lots on here from those much more knowledgable then I when it comes to mini's!

Joe.

Welcome to NAM, great contrast. Nice to be doing something green.

I like your choice of colors, I have seen some 3 unit tow rigs on the road, so let's see. Big Ford, travel unit, MINI. I think the last one was tow, trailer, boat. Nah!

THANKS!

Yeah green...that's a good thing...although there aren't ANY green vehicles that could tug our two slide travel trailer where we venture (Black Hills, Big Horns, Rockies and Appalachians so far)...there is no replacement for displacement...and our V10 with 415 cu in's and 4.30 gearing does an excellent job of pulling each and every pass we put infront of her!

But NOW we have relegated the V10 to TOW and SNOW duty only...so that makes a lot of sense as she does like to indulge quite a bit in the petrol department!

Thanks for the welcome...looking forward to posting and reading here...although with all the forums I frequent...I need more hours in the day!

Here's a picture of our rig from this summer...

Hi & welcome to NAM.

Quite an odd couple you have there. Be careful not to back over that little baby.

Are you aware that they sell tow hitches for MINI's? I'm thinking if you get three more MINI's & hitch the team up they just might be able to pull your trailer.

Congrats on the new ride.

You will find youself driving the Mini from time to time with a big smile on your face. I bought mine as a second car for my wife. I take it out about 3-4 times a week and really enjoy the car.

Bronto,

I'm a newbie...and I'll have to say I have NO IDEA! LOL

I can tell you they are small and light compared to my 8 luggers!...but as indicated in another of my threads...they darn near whipped my butt yesterday!

So hopefully someone else can comment on what wheels are on wifey's mini so in the future I'm not an idiot and say IDUNNO! LOL

Welcome to NAM! Looks like you could put your MINI inside your Ford, if you ever needed to.
