Picked up my new Cooper last night.
Hello everyone. I'm glad I found this forum, it looks like there is a ton of information to be found here.
Last night I picked up my brand new 2007 sparkling silver Mini Cooper from Motor City Mini in Sterling Heights, MI. So far I love it, it's sporty and reasonably quick when compared with the Chevy Blazer I was driving before.
I had to get the bonnet stripes with the black roof just to pull off the whole look of the car. As far as options go I got the HID's, front and rear fog lights, the cold weather package, 6 speed automatic, the hi-fi stereo, and the rally lights from Mini.

BTW I passed through Michigan last month on the way to Northport and saw all of 2 Mini's the whole time. Good to see there's another one up there.

There really aren't that many Mini's around but so far I'm able to find them and I always get a wave from the driver. Kind of cool.
