I did not see another thread so I started this one. Who else is part of the Week 47 group?

 

Looks like your still alone out here....there has to be some week 47 guys out there.

 

and the kind lady told me it was "supposed to go into production 11/16 (today) and be complete on 11/22 ... "

I didn't actually ask her if that meant week 47 ... will see if it actually shows up in production on the website in next day or so ... if it doesn't guess I will call back for actual "production week".

Sounds like week 47 to me.

 

If you ask they will tell you what production week you are on.

 

Mine started production on 11/13. They told me week 47.

 

and it seemed like the guy didn't actually know what a "production week" was ... he DID confirm that production was supposed to start today ... I guess unless I check Monday and learn otherwise ... I'll pretend it's a 47

 

Thats a first. I would call again...you would get a different rep.
Everything is based on a "Production week #" They should know that.

 

I hope it is 47, I do not want to be the only one!

 

I'll check Monday if not later today (busy) ... and see what they say .. wouldn't want you to be lonely in your agony as we wait!

 

Hello fellow Motorers! Just thought I'd chime in. My partner Steve and I have owned a '05 CR/B MCS we bought used since last December and now have a '07 SS/B MCS that we ordered 11/3. I was told this morning when I called Ask MINI that the last note that they have on it is that it was in the paint shop and was scheduled to be completed today! YAY!! So now it's just a matter of them getting it over to the boat, the long 3 week journey to the west coast, then a week at VDC (which the guy called VPC for some reason) and then another week going from there to the dealer, where hopefully they won't mess with it for too long. It'll be so awesome being a 2 MINI family; whichever car I have to drive will be incredible!

 

I think you are Production week 46 like me. I ordered on 11/5. Mine was in the paintshop yesterday and assembly today and should be finished on Saturday.

 

Yeah, I've never been told a number as far as which production week, nor have I asked. Having an MCS already has made this wait slightly more endurable, but I can't wait to try out all the cool new things my sparkling silver beauty will have (NAV, rear fogs, etc.). 246 posts since October!?!? Joe, you are one busy poster!

 

The posting is replacing the miles I should be putting on the mini as I wait for its delivery.

 

OMG! I haven't called to see if the new MINI is out of production yet. I better get on the phone. In the meantime, let's see if my banner shows up on this post...

I called this AM ... it went into production at 6:22AM 11/16/2007 and is supposed to be complete on Thanksgiving day 11/22/2007 ... confirmed week #47!!

Fingers crossed for "by Christmas delivery" ... get those stars and planets aligned!!! impatient:impatient

Whichever week I am in (46 or 47), the good news is that production was completed on Saturday and they already had it to port on Sunday! Now to find out what ship it'll make it onto..........

 

Congrats Will. Mine should have been completed today but the website has not updated and I have not called.

 

The OL says my car is "en route" to the VDC which means its on some ship, but apparently not any owned by W-W. I'll have to check around and see how to track it when its not on the one that is easiest to track and used most often. But at least its on its way!

 

The website still shows mine as scheduled for production.

 

Yay! I was actually off by a number when I was entering my VIN, and it turns out that my car is on the Maersk Wind, currently in the middle of the Atlantic! Ok, not really the middle, more like 43N 32W, but close enough. Too cool.

 

That is cool!

 

I am also week 47. Ordered 10 November and ready for transport 22 November!
