The last time I spoke with my MA and AM both said it was at the dock waiting on a boat. It has been there for a week tomorrow!!!

Hope this is not one of those damaged minis needing repair!!!!!!

 

A bout of insomnia had me punching the [track] button every ten minutes this morning as I catch up on last night's postings. And what do I find? Some time in the last ten minutes, someone scored a ticket on the AIDA!!!

Yeah, a week seems too long. You should be at least getting the "received at terminal" screen on WWL, which you are not. Maybe they gave you the wrong VIN?? If not, you must be on the non-trackable shipping company.

 

I still get nothing at WW as well. We must be on the untrackable line. At least our MINIs can keep each other company...

 

From reading other threads (Wk 42, specifically), folks whose VINs don't show up in the WW page either A) are on the kline freightors, or B) won't show up on the WW site until roughly 24-48 hours before that boat arrives at the docks in Southampton. So either hope that you're kline'd (which your MA should be able to confirm), or that you're to make the next ship out on WW.

Woo Hoo! My car finally got booked on the Boheme. It was completed on Friday 11/9/07 and just showed up on the WW site.

 

I've heard from my MA; mine is "produced but not shipped" and he is going to contact me as soon as he has an ETA, which he will have, once mine gets on a boat. Dang. Was hoping she was sailing already.

 

Mine was completed on the 5th...what the.....LUCKY!!!

Mini Adviser said he has some other cars that are sitting on the dock and he is going to call tomorrow to find out why. I am wondering if the weather from that storm in the north sea has delayed things.

Tell me about it! My car was finished on the 3rd. The 3rd!!!!!! If it does not make the Boheme I'm going to start making phone calls. Last week was not a bad week. This week, I'm not so sure...

Hang in there! What port will you be coming into? There's still hope you're already sailing. I suspect your MA gets its info when the transport is scheduled from the VDC. I knew more from the WW tracking than my MA.

Yeah, well, WW has no clue my car even exists. Just over and over that darned red phrase that they don't have a clue who my car is. People whose cars were finished AFTER mine got on the Patriot. People from week 46 are on the Boheme. When does my car get on a boat?????

 

Does anyone have any contact info for the other shipper ... K-line(?)? Maybe you could call them direct. I would have thought ask-mini would be able to tell you which line it is booked on since it has been sitting at the port for so long! I feel for you, I would be too!

 

I know what you mean. I e-mailed my MA yesterday, and she said that my car was still at the docks in Southampton. Ask-MINI says it has been shipped and The WW site says it is on the boat in the middle of the Scotia Sea.

 

i feel your exact pain, my car was finished on the 31st. of oct. and sat at the factory until friday the 9th of nov. it has now been recieved at port and is scheduled for the Boheme departure on the 14th.

you my try your MA and see if he will contact the District Manager maybe he can find out whats going on. hang in there
