Well, maybe it goes to NY too, but this is copy-and-pasted from WW. Still have not got off on the walk yet; blasted washing machine overfilled and poured water all over the floor! Of course, maybe I put too many dog beds in at one time.... Live and learn I guess. NOW I am going to walk.

You are right. It stops at both.

Multiple Shippers

I don't mean to discourage anyone but my MA told me that there were 2 shippers. One which could be tracked and one that didn't offer that service. Its possible some of our cars might be on the latter

PS mine is reportedly at the port now and I'm typing in my VIN every 15 minutes like the rest of you

Wow! For that you should keep this car for a long time. If you sell it within five years something bad should happen to you.

It would be like getting rid of a pet.

Well, my daughter, who is 9, is planning on driving it to school when she is 16. So, yeah, I do believe we fully intend to keep this car for a long time!

Yo boys, ours made it out of the paint shop and passed the quality review today, so she is finished. We're probably too close to make it to the docks for the 9th, so maybe she'll set sail for NYC on the 13th. Between work still to be done at VPC and at the dealer, we're still looking at a few weeks to go ... if everything goes right, but good progress.

Memorizing the VIN ... I see what madness awaits me

how long??

My car finished on the 5th so I am hoping to be on a boat by the ninth.

If this happens what does the trip to houston look like?

2 weeks on the boat, a week at vdc and a week on a truck?

Mine is apparently in the paint shop still even though it was supposed to be done two days ago. :impatient I'm hoping the automated phone service is a little behind and I can still make the boat on the 9th! Ok, I know, wishful thinking ...

Hmmmm, I wonder if mine will jump off the boat in NY or wait to arrive straight to Baltimore??

So how many are on the boat?

So how many people are on the boat or have a booking number? Min was completed on the 4th and was at the port by the morning of the 7th. I know I'm being impatient but I would love to see some booking info.

From what I've seen on this thread (and I could be wrong but I am NOT going to go back and read the whole thing) I think only MinMor is definitely on a boat. That said, that particular order was an expedited re-order due to damage on their first order. So the rest of us are at "regular speed". I have not checked on Minerva yet though; but I bet that it is like MinMor said and we will know Friday en-mass.

The absense of evidence is not evidence of absense, but FWIW I'm still waiting to hear about getting a ticket for the boat ride. The news that we may not hear anything until Friday gives me a bit of hope (rather than having my hopes dashed each time I see No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered

Thats a trek. With all the cars they have to load the vehicle transports than offload at the port than load on the ships which I have no clue how many cars for each production week. I could imagine it could be a week before shipping information would be updated right away.

Tharkon can give better answers, but I have the impression that it's about 100-200 cars departing from Southampton on each of the 21-day freightor rides. I agree that that's a lot of logistics for getting them loaded on the boats.

Booked on the Patriot!

So i checked the W&W site this morning, expecting to see the dreaded red error message and behold this is what i got...

RECEIVED AT TERMINAL SOUTHAMPTON 05/11/2007 10:48
BOOKED SOUTHAMPTON 25/09/2007 10:09

So I am booked on the Patriot which departs tomorrow! Hopefully nothing changes. It looks like it just takes a while for it to show up in the system. So everyone rush out and check your VIN numbers again! I hope you guys all end up in the same boat (no pun intended).
