Not much to say today. Abit of pacing in the cold fall weather and the odd question from a friend . " Did you here anything about your Mini". No I replied nothing but silence. Waiting always waiting

 

I spoke with my MA today as I was confirming some info with her. She thinks it will be at the dealer by the middle of this week, but I think it may end up being the week after, and that will suck as Thanksgiving will delay it. :impatient

 

"Que sera sera" - what will be will be.
Think of it as a surprise. Involve yourself with other things and when the "call" comes - you will revive your excitement.
I predict delivery here in Houston for around November 16th still.... just a guess.
If you hear anything - give us a post!

I got the call yesterday from my MA. I will be picking mine up on Wednesday!!!

I have not heard back from my MA yet but OL has my Mini at the dealer. Seemed to shoot through the VDC. So no apparent damage. If I get this week it will be 5 weeks + a couple of days from order to pickup

 

man this blazing fast, with you being 5 weeks (assuming you dont have jcw kit) it would make me around 7 to 8 weeks then once i get my car since im going to get the jcw kit....

Wow... but... I think the "at the dealer" segment on OL is actually "on the way to the dealer" (check the description). Check with the dealer to see if it actually arrived. If so.... great! Otherwise - it is probably close!

Mine still says it is at the distribution center.... oh well. I have no idea how accurate this is. The ASK MINI telephone information line still says mine is at the dock awaiting transport to the USA!!!

Your right I was excited by the "at the dealer label" and did not read all the details. At least it's on the way. I can't imagine it's more than a day or 2 drive to Saint Louis.

 

Just heard back from my MA 30 seconds ago. My MINI will arrive either tomorrow or on Wednesday at the dealer even though the OL site still has it at the VDC!

Will be driving my MINI by Thursday!!
Based on what you told us- you should be too!

I will bring my camera with and capture the event for posterity and NAM.
Hopefully - TOPLABDOG and any other week 42ers will have pics around the same time!

By the way... how do I upload a JPG file to NAM? I remember reading about it somewhere.....

My camera is warmed up and ready to go but no definite word from my MA yet. Not sure how the pics will turn out as it seem hard to get a good realistic picture of laser blue using my camera. Smiling faces are easy

 

I will have the same problem with the Laser Blue being so variable depending on lighting conditions but the smiles will certainly be there!

I had a Lightening blue/white the first time around and this time it is Laser blue/white. I will post pics as soon as I get it! No unusual options though on mine to make it look any different than the other laser blue ones - so you can get your fix by looking at all the others too! The lightening blue had Hammer/Coop lighting bolts on the hood and sides.

Here was our first 07 MCSa in Lightening blue/white - chrome line (with older sibling). Not a great picture... will have better lighting next time.
Will post pics of the new laser blue/white when it arrives!

I'm freakin stoked. My mini is getting tinted and striped right now. Sorry if it seemed as if I was not excited. I'm just a matter of fact kind of person when in business mode. Plus, I'm just not a big endorser of smiley faces.
