Hey folks hope you are all well. I got my first Mini 3 months ago, is there a cooler car anywhere? Alice (My Mini's name ) is a 2004 S she is red with white hood stripes and a whte roof. The only stuff I have added on so far is the chrome trim rings for gauges vents speakers ect. It's a nice touch. I got them at the British Invasion at Stowe Vermont from the vendor Triple-c. They are nice people and gave a show special half price. Hope to add other things like exaust, intake and so on soon. all for now JC

Congrats

Nice and Welcome to NAM. How about some pictures of your 04?

I'm sure in 3 months you took one or two pictures.

Welcome to NAM. All you need now is the Union Jack graphic on the roof.

Thanks to old81 and rockridge for the welcome. I'll post some pics of Alice soon. Say does any one know of possible causes of a ticking sound from the right front engine area when I get up in revs? It sounds like shaking a pcv valve vigorously, a rattle tick sound. Thanks for any input.... JC

Welcom to NAM..

I want to do the same thing as soon as I get my MINI. Was it any difficult to add the chrome line? I regret not ordering my MC with interior chrome.

Welcome, Just tap on the PCV on the valve cover while the engine is running and see if the noise changes or stops. The handle of a screwdriver works great for this.

Reza The chrome trim I got simply goes over the existing trim and uses 3M double sided tape to hold them in place. Sounds chinzy but actualy looks great and is easy to apply. Miniguru, Thanks for the tip, I will try what you said tomorrow after work and I'll let you know how I make out. As far as pics go, I am computer dumb and will need my sons help to put them in a posting...sorry Alice is a little beauty and I look forward to letting you all see her. I traded in a 2007 Suzuki GSXR 600 to get Alice, I have never had to have a car as badly. All it took was a test drive!!! JC
