Hello NAM nation! This is Donald from Fort Worth, TX. I own a Solar Red '06 MINI Cooper. CVT
I'm currently the second owner. I have owned my MC for about a month and a half now and I really enjoy it! I've added a Minisport rally lamp bar and some Night Spoke alloys. I've always been a fan of the MINI and Mini. I use to own an '73 Austin Mini 1000 a few years ago. It was my first project car. I still miss the car but I know I'll own another classic Mini again in the future. Here's a few pics of my Coop.

Hey thanx for the warm welcome!
I almost bought a set of rims found on the MC40. I think the Sidewalk wheels really give the car a unique look. The Solar Red metallic paint really shows it's true colors around 5 in the evening. I don't plan to do a whole lot of modding but I do plan to take more pics.

Hello Donald from Fort Worth and welcome to NAM! Beautiful red MINI you've got there. FWIW, there is a MINI club up in your area. You might want to check out http://www.metroplexmini.org/. As they are the closest club to me I just sent in my $ to join. Hopefully, I'll be able to attend a couple of their events.

I like Solar red
I think I'll paint half my car that color- paint the front and rear bumpers, wheel arches and side skirts and leave the roof white so I can get the red white and Indi Blue effect.
Just waiting for more front and rear bumper damage so I can justifly getting aero bumpers to boot.

This is MiniWidower (can't post under my user name yet as they haven’t reviewed my application, credit record and vial of blood). I am the husband of a, for the most part now, absent owner of a new 207.75 R56 named Rosie. Our Corgi, Ginger, and I sit by the door patiently waiting for our mistress to return. Mean while, she's out spending time with Rosie! NightFire Red with a Tuscan Beige interior and a rockin sound system!

The seller said the came from an '07 MCS Sidewalk. I think the owner wanted aftermarket wheels instead of the night spokes.
