Woohoo! Took delivery of my MCS
Week 34 build, with a few snafus along the way, but after some phone tag on Monday of "your car's ready!" "Oops, your car isn't ready, sorry" a big hats off to Jeff and Sonja at MINI of Dallas for getting rid of that pesky passenger airbag light by swapping out seats with another car for me.
It is so much fun to drive, and the sport button is so much more reactive than I remember from my test drive.

Thanks guys! This experience really tested my patience, but despite the snafus, I love the car! This site has really been a great help, especially with the great comraderie among its members.
BTW, I picked the name from Nick Frost's character in Hot Fuzz

Congratulations, looks very good. Sorry you had some 'get the MINI' issues. Looks like your good to go.
Nice picture, more when you have some MINI 'art' pictures to share.

Light caps
I like the light caps. Did they come with the add on lights?
I am thinking of adding these from MorrisMini after delivery to save a little $$

Yes, the caps come with. My MA offered to take them off, but I've got a road trip back home ahead of me, so want them on for protection.

Thanks! It is strange to not see many LiB cars around, though. I originally wanted Dark Silver/W, but decided for this car I want something a bit different

Here's a better pic with fewer shadows, that really gives an idea of the shade of blue better (for those unfamiliar with LiB!)

Man that color rocks! Love that the cap colors are white, that really looks good with the stripes. Congratulations on your sweet ride!

Nice photo additions, Butterman looks good with the white caps on the driving lights, good accent to the white roof. Sharp all over. Enjoy....
