I figured I would officially start the week 36 production support group. I ordered my MCS on 8/23/2007.

I have confirmed though my dealer and 866-ASK-MINI that she is scheduled for production in week 36. The spec’s on the OL are now 100% correct.

The 866 ASK MINI real person says I'm scheduled for Week 36 too (Although he didn't sound very confident!)

I ordered in late June. These MINIs going to the Pacific Northwest take a lot of pateince!

MIne's also DS, but with white top and mirrors.

 

It looks like week 36 is off to a dark silver start. Ordered 8/14, done by 9/03

Just received confirmation that our Paddington Bear will be a Week 36 Build!

Specs:
MCS, CR/W, Cold Weather, LSD, DSC, SS, English Oak trim, English Oak MFSW, White Turn Signals

 

Ordered mine 8/3 and it was completed 8/17... but the ship won't arrive in california until 9/17 according to the website :( sooooooo sad

I just bumped myself from week 36. I asked the delaer to make a change to the car... turns out the car went into prodcution yesterday so I had to re-order. Lucky for me the dealer wants the original car so I don't have to take it/loss my deposit. Look like I'll be 37/38 now. Best of luck to all you 36'ers!

Wating 2 extra weeks really hurts, but I figure 2 weeks to get some "extras" I overlooked is worth it.

 

OK, I feel much better now. 866 ASK MINI says my car in production and estimated completion date is Sept 6. Guess it really is week 36! Only a couple of months to go now!

 

I am week 36 also... thank goodness for the ASK Mini I called two weeks ago and they confirmed that I am in Week 36 production- as the owners lounge site still shows that Pepe is 'on order'....

Anyway, my MA just told me that the dealership apparently "bumped" the production of my MINI up and it'd be done 9/3 and they hope to get it in the dealership by late Sept. And I was only planning to pick up no earlier than mid to late Oct.

The car was ordered 8/25 (although I think they inputed it into the system on 8/27). Order details are in my signature below... (why repeat myself? )

 

I guess I'll keep the DS trend going with mine. Ordered 8/18, scheduled for completion sept 6 making it a week 36. details bellow in signature

 

i am so so so excited - I have officially moved to scheduled for production on the owners lounge tracking site.... yippee it might not just be all a dream afterall!!!

 

Our Red Menace MCS was born on 9/4 and is awaiting transport as of 9/5. Any W36ers able to obtain tracking info from WW? Looks like the next ship to SC (Liberty) leaves on 9/7 and arrives on 9/22. After that it's Courage leaving 9/14 and arriving 9/29. Crossing my fingers for Liberty. Give me Liberty or give me....

Welp, I ordered Aug 20th, completes tommorow (the 7th) Right now she's in the bodyshop. Stats are as follows:LB w/W, 17" White crown spokes, white turn signals, cold weather, sport and premium package, hifi, nav, comfort access, limited slip diff, sport suspension, rear fogs, carbon black lounge leather, anthracite headliner, black and white pinstripe floormats, cream white color line, and piano black interior.

just called ASK MINI and Pepe is in the paint shop too - scheduled to complete tomorrow (7th) too!!! Yours sounds awesome only thing missing is the latte maker ;-) completely deserved for coming home!

 

I ordered my MINI on 8/27, and it was in the paint shop yessterday! It's supposed to be completed today(9/6)!

Looks like everybody is just as excited as me about getting their new toys!

Makes me wish I lived on the East Coast now! My MCS should be complete today, but the first boat to Long Beach from Southampton looks like it takes a 46 day voyage and transfers at Singapore. Hope I'm wrong, but my MA did say it would take two more months. yuck

 

no way! you gotta be kidding me! My MA said that it should be here beginning of Oct. I really hope you're wrong!

EDIT: I checked WW, and they have a ship from Southhampton to Port Hueneme on 9/10 and 9/17 (arriving 10/1 & 10/8 respectively). Hopefully our Minis can make it on one of these ships!

Checked today on the WW site (thanks for the tip grey!), my MINI's going to be enjoying a nice ride across the pond on The Liberty!!

Now, anyway it gets here is nice of course, but I'm also kinda geeked that the ship's name is Liberty

Mpruess, I take it you are living in the Los Angels area? I ordered mine from Long Beach Mini and hopefully our two minis will be shiped together (soon). Anyone know when the next ship headed to the west coast?

 

WW has ships scheduled for Port Hueneme, CA on: 9/10,
9/17, 9/24, or about one every week.
