Am I halluncinating here? I think Figaro is gonna arrive on the 21st, not the 22nd! This is the latest off the WW site. Shows it departs Port Hueneme on the 22nd but shows it arriving on the 21st. Did it always say that?

I just found the voyage details that I saved on 10/1 and it said this:
MANZANILLO
PANAMA
12/10/2007
12/10/2007
PORT HUENEME, CA
U.S.A.
22/10/2007
22/10/2007

So, I guess they changed it, but as you say jmdor, it could have been like that for awhile now and I never noticed it until now. Cool!

The Port Hueneme schedule is showing 10/22, so WW has changed the arrival date. Just checked the WW site for ships to PH till the end of this year and they are showing 21 days as voyage times. In the past it has varied from 19 - 21 days to PH, so they have added additional time for the trek.

Skeeters ship arrived a day early as well as a few others, so Figaro will be a day.

oh oh...there is a tropical depression neaby northwest a ways! Hopefuly it will just stay where it is and doesn't get any worse. Sometimes I think I shouldn't watch this thing as much as I do.

No worries as these "little" storms on the west coast won't effect the RO/RO ships.

Even so, maybe they should speed the boat up a bit, just in case?

Well at least you ordered before winter, so the Waggoners transport truck won't be dealing with snow on the 3 passes from Oxnard to WA.

So while we're putting away up the West coast, I have a question. I just put my RAV4 up for sale and stuck it in Auto Trader, Craigslist, and a big RAV4 forum. Made a website and pointed to it in these ads. Anyone know of any other really good online places to advertise cars?

If you use eBay, I have sold a couple of vehicles on there and did well. Most recent was a 2006 Yamaha V Star, actually made a bit more off it than I could have done
selling privately, and the buyer was only 60 miles away. He could have saved almost a grand if he had checked the Cycle trader when I had it listed there.

I do use eBay and never really thought to try selling a car on it, although I know people do and it sounds like you had a good experience selling your bike. Not sure why it makes me nervous. If I don't get anywhere with Auto Trader in a week I think I'll look into it....

Looks like our little tropical depression has a name now -- Kiko. I like that! As long as it stays out of the way of our boat.

WW has updated the arrival time again. Now Figaro is supposed to arrive on 10/20! But I have to wonder with Kiko being there. Read its forecast and it's growing in strength and might be able to hit the Mexican mainland. But maybe as Tharkun stated earlier, it shouldn't affect a large ship like Figaro.

From my side of things, the sailwx server is having major issues. This is not uncommon for the site, it will return eventually.

Sorry to hear you are ill.

Here is a pic of the port, there are no live cams so no viewing the unloading. The port has two RO/RO docks and when the pic was taken, WW ships were at both berths.

This is the Eukor site and there is a short clip of the loading of a ship, will give you an idea as to how quickly they can load/unload vehciles.

Thanks, Tharkun...I like your little green ick face. Sort of how I felt especially yesterday! Neat pictures and movie. Definitely amazing how fast they can move the vehicles.
