R56 Production Week 40 Support Group!
No lurker, just in MINI-OCD denial - "if I'm not really signed up as a member, I can just "happen" to check in multiple times a day, it's not really intentional...I'm not really THAT anxious about this car..."
Oh, and my MA (who didn't have the gall to go on vacation with a MINI shipment scheduled to arrive
) said it would probably be Thursday or Friday of next week before I could pick up the car. So - your MA's vacation might not cause a delay after all! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Welcome to NAM. I've waited for 2 months - i can wait for a couple weeks more. The only reason i want an exact date as soon as possible is so i can get a friend to come with me to inspect the car at delivery and make sure i don't overdo it on the way back
Me too! But then, the long drive would help make the break-in period shorter! I just hope there won't be too many rock chips from the trip.
I'm thinking the same, still debating with how to do the front license.

IMO on the stock bumper having the plate mounted in the center actually looks better. It hides that odd line going through it. I still haven't figured out why they designed it that way.
I'm picking mine up tomorrow
I got the no holes bracket as well. I just don't like the idea of drilling holes in a brand new car, ack! The Service Manager was very happy with my choice, he hates doing it

The car is incredible fun. I drove out of the dealership at 2pm with 27 miles on the odometer and thanks to the Portland-Seattle commute and then some, the odometer now reads 262 O.o
