Just a suggestion for once your Mini is at the SH port, don't depend on ASK MINI or the OL, OL can be very slow to update, and ASK MINI phone support people will usually inform you to contact your MA, but some will take a "guess" and give you info which will usually be useless. My OL is still showing Skeeter at the VDC in Oxnard with a delivery date to dealer of 8/15/07.

The OL says the same thing for me as well.

 

Have you tried the ww website? The OL is still showing me as "awaiting transport" but the ww site shows that I'm loaded on the ship.

Yeah....I tried the WW site and it didn't have any info. Maybe it will be with a different carrier.

 

Good Luck! My car missed 2 ships before finally getting on this one. I checked the K-line website but was having a hard time with it. Maybe you'll find out that it's halfway across the atlantic as we speak!

 

The WW website can be slow for updates. My MINI is already listed as "En Route" on the Mini OL site, but WW is still showing it as just loaded on vessel. Who knows, they'll probably list it as "departed" when it arrives on these shores .

 

Usually the WW site is more current than the OL, in checking the WW site it does show the Patriot as having departed Southampton on 10/5, if that is the ship you are on.

No way of knowing for sure, could just be a height issue, keeping the other levels for taller cargo.

 

Err... I was thinking more like putting the lighter stuff on top.

 

Well I can't locate the other pics, but have seen Minis on the other levels, so most likely it just depends on what day pics are taken.

Yea! I got the pre-programmed option page too! What else are you guys going to pre-program on the MINI? What else is there?

I'm still deciding on whether to drill the front license plate, what are your takes? I didn't really like tow-hook license plate holder but that seems to be the only option if no drilling.

What are the first things you guys going to do with your MINI? My first plan is to get a good tint once I recover financially. I'm thinking about the clear bra too, but it's just too much to spend.

 

Mines scheduled to be at the VDC by this weekend, woot!

 

Update:

My MA sent me a text message while on vacation to tell me my MINI is on a ship. I don't have any more info (what boat, when it left, when it's scheduled to arrive). But at least I know it's on its way.

If you post your location and the date your Mini was received at the Southampton dock, we may be able to determine which ship you are on.
Have you tried entering your Vin # on the WW site ?

 

No, it's not on the WW site.

My best guess would be the Frisia K-Line ship due into Charleston on 10/25.

If not, it might be the Western Highway due in 10/31, but that doesn't leave Southhampton until tomorrow.

 

My VIN does not show anything on WW site either so it could also be on Frisia as well but I do not know for sure. I have emailed my MA 3 times to no avail. Actually, I think the K-Line vessel Western Highway will leave Southampton on 10/19. The WW vessel COURAGE also leaves on 10/19 but I don't think we can be on that one if the WW site does not show anything for the VIN.
