I have a random question. There are a ton of posts where people are talking about the 08 MCS and the addendum of the "auto-up windows" and USB port. I ordered a 2007--is that what I will be getting? When do the 2008's actually start? Will we have the USB port? I suppose I could just 'wait and see,' but where's the fun in that?

Everything I've read suggests auto-up and USB will not arrive early, unlike other changes. (Power-folding mirrors in cold weather package, for example, which made me very happy.) I'm hoping for the auto-up window, but I'm not counting on it. I didn't order bluetooth, so I know I won't get the USB.

KXLight, yes i am from Seattle and i would be picking up my mini from Rasmussen. I haven't decided about the trip - i might con a friend to drive me over or con a friend to go with me and have him drive my old trusty honda back
and by con i mean convince . It all boils down to when i can go take delivery 
- if by some chance the car shows up on the 21st, i am planning to grab a couple of bags, get on the bus/train to OR and go on a roadtrip for 3-4 days. I live close to downtown - so either transportation is fine by/for me.

Mine's due the 18th @ my dealer!! I'm guessing i'm WK 40, but who knows. I placed the order on Sept 15th!! If he's right, that makes it 1 moth, 3 days from when I ordered it!!! woot!! (I live in Texas btw.)

Call 1-866-ASK-MINI, ask for a human (customer relations) and give them your production number and ask for week/production status.

Nice - when was your mini done with production? I am hoping mine gets on the ship leaving the 8th but i won't know till it happens :impatient
