New Owner, what to expect?
I never had a Mini before and finally ordered one.
It is in Production Week 39 (9/23) and is a Lightning Blue Cooper with Black Top, Black Bonnet Stripes, Black Lounge Leather, Brushed Alloy Surface, Anthracite and Pacific Blue Color Line.
Premium, Sport, Convenience and Audio packages plus Navigation and Sport Suspension. Basicaly fully loaded minus the aero kit.
Someone said about 6 weeks from production week to delivery. Does this sound accurate?

Wow, that is one well optioned Mini. Delivery time varies based on your location. The east coast is about 4 - 6 weeks. The west coast another week or two because of the longer voyage. Congratulations in advance.

Are you getting an S model? What size wheels? What do you drive now?
Mine took about 6 weeks from order to delivery, but that was back in February.

I waited for about 6 weeks. 2.5 weeks were while the car was sleeping at the VDC. It was stuck there until I asked my dealer's sales Mgr to put a priority on my car. then it arrived the next day.

Expect to become completely obsessed with MINI's, and become completely enthralled in driving...in a good way!

Mine took six weeks to get here, too....not bad. Expect to fall in love w/ the car. MINIs have a way of drilling into your mind and heart...maybe because the driver/car communication regarding handling is so good. The car is just so eager to show off...and quite able to do so. There's much more to MINIs than meets the eye. Very special.

I ordered mine on aug 4th and got it on sep 10th.. The car is just amazing.. You will feel all the youth coming back turning those curves and steep turns with mini.. So far it has been a wonderfull exp for me... very special indeed...
