yes.. very hopefully.. Bhatch and I are at the same dealership - so we shall see who gets the call first.

 

I've given up hope on that one -- but definitely report in if anyone on the lucky east coast sees a usb port or auto-up!!

 

I asked my ma about the usb port yesterday, she said no 08 changes will be in the 07. But she could be wrong. She did,'t even know my car was at the vdc.

Where would the port be? In the glove box or secret compartment?

Checked with my MA yesterday and she said my mini was released to the shipper today. I just checked online and it said estimated delivery date of today!!! I doubt I will be able to take delivery today, but does this mean that my mini is at the dealer?

I would call my ma and ask, but she is off today. I will tomorrow. Now all I'm waiting for is to get my loan check from the credit union and I will be golden.

 

Great to hear, I talked to my MA today, they had written Mini Copper all over the paperwork, he said it should be arriving today in Boston, but have to wait a few days for the Certificate of Origin

 

Received a e-mail form my MA yesterday saying that the car will be ready within a week and would get back to say what day exactly it can be picked up.

I still haven't heard from my MA. The car should be at dealer by now. I ordered from MINI Markham. Actualy they have never contacted me through the whole process.

 

My mini is at the dealership, got there yesterday. Delivery scheduled for tomorrow morning at 0945!!! In less than 12 hours I will have my mini.

Took delivery on Nigel. The car is sweet!!! I haven't had time to do all ym settings yet, but I already can tell that the nav and audio package were well worth the money.

I'm sad to report there is no usb beside the aux in. Sorry everyone. I did get the new door sills with the checkered line though.

Any news on Toronto area Minis? Has anybody got the call from their dealers? As far as I know, Undine docked at Halifax Oct. 9 and from there 34 hours to Toronto, that's last Thursday. One more day from CN depot to dealer and that brings us to Friday. Don't you guys agree that, I should have got the phone call already? I hope everything is all right with my car.

 

My hope was following your schedule, but I am not confident that CN is ever on time; if you ever have taken the train from Halifax to Toronto there is always a mechanical error that delays the train, sometimes by 12 hours! As well, when the Minis arrive in Ontario at the VDC in Concord they will have to wait to be loaded on trucks from there. When the Minis do arrive at the dealerships they have to be groomed and prepped for us to pick them up. So logistically, I am expecting a call Tuesdays or Wednesday from the dealer.

I may even take a walk by Mini Downtown this morning in hopes that my car is there. :P

 

Just came back from the dealer. There is no sign of my car, but there are three that seems to be droped off Friday or Saturday. The wait continues....

Oh man, that's the worst. I hate customs paperwork.

 

I was told today that my MINI is on it;s way to concord Ontario (VDC) by train, should be here end of the week.
