And still at least a couple weeks for us West-coasters! :impatient
There's just something about the last few days! My wife bet me that I'd schedule the delivery appointment as early as possible, even if it meant that I would have to take a day off...
It seems there's a consensus! It's not a problem for me to get the day off, but her office will be short-staffed the week we're likely to see delivery. It'll be her first new car too, so I'd hate for her to miss it.
Looks like our ship's arrival date got bumped up an extra day, so I'm hoping everything goes smoothly and arrives on a weekend...

I assume your dealer is Northwest Mini, have you asked them what there time is for doing the PDI. Some dealers take as long as several days. From past delivery times from the VDC to WA, I would estimate your Mini arriving the week of 10/29, if that is of any help.

Yep NW Mini, their estimate is 'in a couple weeks' from now. I get the impression that my level of MiniOCD is more unusual there, cause of their wait times the more excited buyers seem to got out of state. I try not to bother them too much, I'm a purchasing agent with customer's orders of my own to keep track of, so I can identify with what they have to deal with.
People always want specific dates, and especially so when the timeline is almost completely outside of your control
I figure that if the ship's scheduled to arrive Saturday the 20th, that means unloading and waiting until Monday the 22nd, three days at the VDC (the 25th), then trucking time up being delivered the 27th or 29th, then three more prep/setup days gives a realistic date of Nov 1st, assuming everything goes smoothly.

After seeing you had ordered 5 days after Skeeter, figured you went with NWM. The day we took delivery there was a couple taking delivery of their Mini, they flew
down from WA and was going to make the trip back up by way of the Napa valley. They wanted to avoid the wait time of NWM.
Hopefully you will take delivery and still have a bit of decent weather to enjoy your Mini before winer hits.

Keep forgetting to check this thread out. Seems I'm moored in the Figaro one all the time. Anyway, Rasmussen Mini in Portland told me they average 10-14 days after it hits the VDC to delivery to the owner. So I agree that for us Seattleites, it's gonna be around the 1st. I'm hoping to get it on that Saturday, hang out with buddies in Portland, and get the clearbra done on Monday down there, and drive home that day.
