Haha! 'Moored' at 8.3 Knots in a SE direction... The Figaro did the same yesterday.

 

There have been many compliants about the free tracking software, and each does have "bugs", but if tracking was dependant upon miniusa.com and it worked as well as the OL.........nevermind.

Got my car sold. Now just waiting for the mini to get here. He's slmost here, the boat is off the coast of Canada.

 

Figured I would drop in on the thread, need advice on picking a name.

 

So here's the deal. I sold my current car which is good. Bad thing is my mini is still on the boat. I will be giving up the car next week, so the sooner I take delivery on the mini the better. (less days with a rental.)

So here is my question, the boat docks on Sunday the 7th. What is the earliest the mini could be at my dealer in Northern VA?

The bare minimun time it will take to get to delivery? Here's my theory...2 days at the VDC, it will leave there on Tues the 9th, 1 day of transport (Va is not that far from NJ.), so the 10th, Dealer said 3 days to prep, so then we're looking at the 13th.

Just a theory, I know it can be much longer, just hoping to get lucky.

 

Just get a rental car for a week with an option to extend.

 

yeah, thats what I'll have to do. Just trying to minimize it as much as possible.

 

You can reduce the rental fees more by looking around for good discounts. Last time I rented a few months ago, just saying I was a Costco member got me an extra 10% off.

 

I am a costco member, which company gave the discount?

 

It was Hertz that I went to, but I'm sure if you checked it out with Costco there'd be others.

Just spoke to my ma today. She anticipated that my car would be at the dealer Wed. and delivery would be end of the week. It's getting closer and closer...
