What to do with your left foot!

Ok I am finally de-cloaking – Placed our order (conception) 7/17 - 3:17pm for MCSa. Birth began 8/1 - 7:45am (yeah!!)

H health issues forces auto (yes I’ll let him drive it some ). While on our test drive we both found our left leg twitching and wanting to join in the fun. Can’t even let it switch to brights like my old VW Ghia.

Sooo anyone with ideas like maybe a mod to add a pedal and an occasional lurch in the shift for effect? (I can already hear the smart-aleck - yes – it’s call a manual… )

Welcome to NAM,

There is a nice place to plant your left foot to the left. Just let your foot relax and enjoy the ride.

Of course, you could left foot brake, but I only recommend that on an AutoX course, remember to turn of your DSC.

You will grow to love the automatic and the paddles, very versatile.

I know that order. Welcome Debbie on delurking. I'm happy for you that your baby is in the production canal. It will seem like a long wait, but after it arrives, you'll never remember the waiting.

Thanks for the welcome

We are looking forward to learning the paddles, sounds like it be fun but still give us the option to be lazy.

John - you got me Yes we are finally on our way - we may make it by the September run yet!

I was thinking maybe if I took some yoga I could learn to scratch my ear with my foot. Nah - probably not

Welcome Aboard I can think of several things I'd like to use my left foot for - but it wouldn't be nice to post here - LOL!!! Anyway - Congrats - don't think I can help you out with a mod though.

Sure hope ya don't confuse the foot-operated horn switch with the foot-operated dimmer switch sometime!

I hadn't thought about those in a long time. The 1953 Chevy that I bought when I was 15 and learned to drive a stick on had that. Always seemed like a weird place to put it, but like anything else you got used to it.

The only problem was when I replaced it with a 1968 Camaro, I kept stomping the floor and the brights never did come on.

The worst one I had was my Dukes of Hazard Charger whose headlights would start flashing like a police car for no apparent reason. I had people look at it and they never could find where the short was. Just glad it never started doing that when I was in eyeshot of a police car.
