Marvin's daddy (or mommy) started a Tagus thread now that we're out of production. It's on the first page of new posts.

 

Apparently my Otello ship mates (minus the one I've met so far) are not very vocal. I believe there's 170 other minis aboard, I wish my little baby had more friends there (at least that I know of)!!

 

Poor baby! Well, I don't see any reason why she (he??) can't have friends on Tagus! Mini telepathy or something!

 

haha well I guess they are all out at sea together!! You never know what our minis are capable of!!

 

My Mini was completed 8/2 and no tracking on WW yet. Maybe it is scheduled with a different service...? No updates in the Owners Lounge. Just awaiting shipment. This is going to take forever!

 

Aw that stinks, I hate the time between production and WW tracking. Have you called your MA to see what the deal is? It will probably hop on the next ship.

Yes! I had a feeling my Mini was going to be left behind :(

He/she will be on Boheme, which is a beautiful name

 

Several Tagus friends have been booted off to go on the Boheme. I think they had to be separated. Having WAY too much fun, since Tagus had to delay departure for 3 days!!

Won't it be fun when we all get our Minis????? Wheee!

 

Does anyone know when the courage will be leaving and arriving? Or where I can look this up?

We're lost! OL still says I'm awaiting transportation, WW says I'm loaded on TAGUS and it's on the way, and the ship tracking site doesn't get any information from the ship. I guess we're in the dark until it gets to the Panama Canal next week.

 

Joy is suspended until Panama Canal. All our non-Tagus friends, rejoice! You obviously have a captain who is kind and compassionate toward all future MINI owners. Perhaps our captain only drives SUVs on land. . .Hey! a new thread idea for the Tagus folks. . . what is wrong with our captain!!!!!

 

The ship is moving along. I must go to sleep now...

oh it was this post. 11th post I guess.

 

If you're on a ship coming over, the OL will not get updated until you reach your VDC. It takes about 7-10 days to reach the US. Once there, it should be updated to 'en route'. That should mean it's left the VDC and is headed to the dealer.

Mine is on the Otello and it left Halifax yesterday and is headed to NJ (my VDC) on the 16th...Woo Hoo!

 

For those whose new MINIs are coming over on the Courage, I was sailing in Southampton harbor this Saturday (8/11) and snapped a whole bunch of picutres of the Courage and the MINIs on the top deck of the parking garage awaiting loading. I see that the Courage has now sailed. The Tagus was also still in port on Saturday, but not at the Ro/Ro docks. She was farther up the port, probably getting fuled for the trip.

FYI, the Courage is not a WW ship, but the only US flagged Ro/Ro.
