R56 Production Week 31 Support Group
I'm leaving for the UP and then Drummond Island this Thursday won't be back till Monday. So I'm guessing your MINIs and mine will arrive like Friday at Motor City MINI when I can't pick it up. Which should be good for you two and bad for me
Congrats, all! I think you are about a week or 2 ahead of us on the west coast. Our ship docks at the port this Friday !!!
I've also had an MA who is tepid, mediocre. . .
My hubby used to sell Saturns and said this is what is happening:
The guy probably is delivering 3 cars each day, dealing with the paperwork, delivery, etc. He is also selling 1-2 cars each day. About a week before my car arrives, he gets the notice, and THEN will remember me and get all attentive. Nothing personal, but he's had lots of other people on his immediate radar. It made sense, even though I want to be treated like his absolutely most important client! LOL!
I'm hoping it's true!
Good luck, all!

I must say that this last week of waiting is the worst.
Not knowing exactly where your car is. I know it was discharged, but that's it.
It was nice being able to track the boat and know right where the car was on it's voyage.
I think they need to integrate the scanning/inventory equipment at the VDC to automatically update the tracking on the owners lounge.

...9 weeks from the day I ordered it!
MPIIIman, looks like our cars will not be here for over a week.
Adrian just called me back and let me know that they are having a delay with the cars at the port. She said my car is scheduled to be release from the VDC on sept. 1, but said its still stuck at the port so who knows...
I hate waiting. I have two cars from the 1980s that will not stop breaking down, and need the new car now. Not just because I realyl want it, but because I need it

pshaw... June 20 order with Mid September(??) delivery.
Was nice of her to call you popimor.
So at least another week to go.
That sucks. I feel you on your older cars. I have no A/C in my ride, and the ride home in rush hour really sucks. By the time the car gets here I'm not gonna need A/C anymore since it will be snowing soon!

After having my delivery day advanced three times, it was starting to get very agriviating.
I checked the OL this morning and it has updated to say my car is at the VDC.
And it also says estimated delivery date of 9/1/2007.
Is that delivery to me or delivery to the dealer though?
It feels good to see some progress.

Contacting BMT
I just state to BMT they were shipping a vehicle for me, and they asked me for the VIN. I guess they thought I was from the dealer. I took delivery of my car on Tuesday the 28th, but not before my MA and I had it out. The car was in on the 27th and I had already signed all the paperwork on the preceding Friday. After I made a scene in the dealership, I was finally rewarded with the service I deserved from the get go.

Congrats!!! That's when I took delivery, only last Friday
Make sure they put 38 lbs of air in all the tires. I'd bring my own gauge if I were you. One of mine only had 33 lbs. We had to clear the Tire Pressure Monitor symbol before I left. Good luck!
