Hello everybody, I've been a reader for a while but never posted before. I'm bored today at work so I thought I'd give it a try.
A little about myself:
I'm 19 and live in Minnesota. I work at Motorwerks BMW/MINI as a Lot Attendant for new bimmers. I'm also going to school.
Working at Motorwerks is great and on top of that I get to be around brand new bimmers and MINIS all day long.
A little about my car:
I have an '02 CR/w MCS. I've only had it a couple of months, but I'm falling more and more in love with it everyday (don't tell my girlfriend). Over the last couple of months I've been a little short on cash so I've had to limit my modding to cheap, simple things. For example I made my own shift boot and e-brake boot top match the exterior of my car, as well as I've done the now famous IMAGOX boot light LED mod. I also have made my own CAI. I plan on doing the one-ball mod very shortly as well as install an engine damper.
I've found this forum extremely helpful and inspirational and I really appreciate all the effort put forth by all the contributors. I hope to be able to help out someone else on these boards one day. If you're in Minnesota and you see a CR/w with white wheels and unique bonnet stripes be sure to wave!
Thanks,
Max

Hey Max... since you work at Motorwerks, I'm sure you've run into members of 'Sota MINIs, your local club. I know Motorwerks was one of the sponsors for their NL2NB rally last month (it's on the t-shirt actually
)
Check them out! Really nice bunch. I have their club grille badge proudly displayed on my MCC and I'm a member as well.
Welcome and enjoy your MINI experience

I have tried to get in to 'Sota MINIs, but I think one of their top guys is kind of indisposed at the moment so my registration hasn't been able to be completed. One of our MINI salesguys is a member and that's what he told me. Thanks for everyone's responses.
As far as what I've done to the interior, don't expect too much either because I have ZERO upholstery skills and was just looking for something cheap and somewhat easy to start my "you-ification".
I'll try and post some pics up later tonight as I'm at work right now. You wouldn't think it, but being around brand spankin' new bimmers and MINIs gets really old when you do it day after day........ NOT!!
Ok so I figured out how to upload images to the gallery. There's only like six of them and they're not very exciting but it should give you a good example of Mo.
