My Wife and I placed an order for a MINI in mid-May but the wait was killing us!!! Everywhere we looked there was a MINI. It was teasing us so badly. So we went back to MINI Dealership, South Bay MINI (Torrance, CA), and told our MA, Amanda, that we couldn't wait.
Luckily for us there was a very very similar MINI on the lot, 99.9% of what we wanted. The 0.1% was the 16in rims. Who cares... now I have an excuse to get 17's maybe 18's.... heehee
Everything went so smoothly. Our MA Amanda and South Bay MINI was so understanding and helpful. No problems with the order we placed, F&I went great and was out of there within a few hours. Came home that evening with our MINI. (Lightning Blue with White top, Auto, Front & Rear Fogs, White Blinkers, umm....whole bunch of other things I can't remember)
If anyone in the Southern California or anywhere is interested in a MINI, give our MA Amanda a call. She is so courteous, professional, understanding, patient and most of all, a great friend!!! When you do meet her, please ask her to show you the gas lid.

Beautiful car. Hope you post pics of it when you get the tint and stripes...I am so fond of both!

Finally had some time to take a pic with the stripes on the bonnet.



Now I have to find time to get the tint done.
Has anybody tinted the top part of the front windshield??

 

I didnt even think of waiting when I decided to buy.There are a lot of Mini dealers in So. Cal. it took about 3 days to find what I wanted and for MSRP.I could not have slept If I ordered and had to wait I dont know how you guys do it.

 

You have to wait if you want mcs with nav., premium, sports, convienece, L leather, hifi. and in auto. I will pay more if there is one like that on the lot.
