A MCS for a Trojan

Hello Everyone!
I ordered my MCS on Monday from Long Beach Mini and got my production number early this morning. So I am offically a member now, and will have my new pepper white w/black top and stripes the first week of July. I am very glad I found this forum and have already put its vast extent of knowledge to use, especially when trying to find the best deal for my mcs(nothing over msrp!). Currently right now I am driving an 05 Escalade and cant wait to switch over to something fun and quick, oh and that doesnt cost over a hundred dollars to fill up! lol

Well glad to be here and looking foward to meeting some people and learning more!

Take Care

Michael

So what made you give up the bling bling? Or are you gonna keep the Slade along with the MINI? Either way, nice color choice!

No, no more escalade for me anymore....the tv's, subs, 22's....there all going....sadness. But I am not getting something quick and fast and something i'll be able to actually park, and not have to pay valet everytime cause i dont fit in normal parking spots! lol

Yeah it'll be nice to park I bet. You got pics of the Escalade? It's always cool to have a vehicle that songs are written about (everybody go listen to "Cadillacs on 22's")

Welcome and Congrats on the order of the new Mini. We got our 1st Mini at Long Beach and they are great. How long is the wait going to be for you? We were actually lucky enough to pick Egguin
(our yellow MCc) of the lot on our first visit. We ordered our second Mini (the BRG JCW in my sig) from South Bay and we had to wait 5 months!!!!!! ( painful, slow, excruciating) months.

Keep us posted on your Mini wait.

Thats awesome that you got your mini from Long Beach to! I like to hear good things about a dealer im buying from. I should have mine by the end of June or the first week of July. So lets see how it goes. I hope to get it sooner but by the latest August so that I can get it before fall semester begins again.
You mentioned that it took you 5 months to get JCW, does Long Beach usually miss qoute thier times or was that the amount of time they told you up front?

Thanks

Mike

Welcome (even though I am a Bruin AND Fighting Irish)

I ordered my MINI from LB Mini also and it is expected to arrive at the port on 13 May, with delivery about 1 week later. LB Mini quoted the 13 May port date when I ordered in early March and so far it has been pretty accurate.

Took this photo with my phone while having my MINI serviced yesterday.

BTW, when I asked about having my tires rotated, the SA quoted me $150.

Well mine took 5 months becasue we ordered it in the beginning of October and ordered a JCW. The 06' JCW's were not slated for production until December and then the factory took a holiday and retooled in Jan/Feb.
But alas, the wait was worth it. They did tell me that it we should not expect the car until Feb/March so they were not far off on the time line
