Woo hoo, she's home, she's home!!! Definitely a girl. Too much personality,vibrance and spunk to be a male. Her name is "Kassy". I'll have to wait to post pictures as the wife has the camera and I'm at work nursing a bee sting to the cranial area, but hot dang is this one fine car!

I'm man enough to admit it. I was wrong. It is too small. But I don't care, this car rocks out loud! It handles like it's on rails, is a looker from far and close up, and best of all, I just drove over 80 miles, averaging 38.3MPG!!!

My heart will always belong to Mustangs, but I gotta tell ya, this new infatuation with a sultry Brittish babe may just do me in...

More to come once I find out WTHeck is going on with this bee sting. Ouch...

I know, even though I still have small pangs of regret for not getting an MCS, Kassy has made it all better. I cannot wait to see her all decked out with all her checkered bits on. She looks even better than I imagined. Such a blast to drive as well!

Actually, that's where my second job is, I work as a dispatcher/security on nights and occasional weekends. It definitely sets off her color though, doesn't it?

 

Me too, I really can't wait. I wanted to do the Checkered sunroof applique, but it's pretty expensive (with install) and the money could probably be better spent elsewhere (GPS unit, new rims/tires or Bluetooth).

As soon as the other bits are on, I will be doing a full photoshoot, this time using my camera.

I guess the propecy has come true. We've been married for 7 years, and it looks like I'm leaving my wife for "the other woman".

I just finished washing and detailing my Sheamus, and even after 18 months of ownership, I still can't stop staring and admiring.

SO, how's the car? Great pics btw.

 

I was a hair nervous that checkers would be overdoing it, but it compliments it oh so nicely. I think the only thing that might look better is if I could do Mellow Yellow/Black checkers instead. Hmm..On second though, maybe that would be overkill.

It's been a blast, but I have to admit that staying under 4K RPM has been tough. It's going to be a looooooooong 1,200-1,500 miles.

 

I'm not going to do anything too radical, as my plan is still to turn "Kassy" in after 32 months and order an MCS. Anything I do I want to be able to switch over to that car, or sell separately if they redesign the Mini again by then and the bits don't fit.

I'm set on "Kassy". It fits her perfectly.

I know it's early yet, but so far it's the best car I've ever owned. Fit/finish it top notch, rides like a dream, uber comfortable.

No, I mean it. I want an MCS. Kassy is a fine car and I'll enjoy the next 36 months, but an MCS is in the stars. I'm too used to power, I want the extra HP.
