~ Caravaning from Salina, KS ~

HI All,
Getting anxious
Just thought I'd try to get some time frames to possibly organize a meetup in Salina/I-70 on Wednesday 9th.
Please post some ETA in Salina and meet up spot so we can try to caravan over together.

Target time 10:00 in Salina, KS Wal~Mart parking lot, subject to change ~Post here if you'll be joining the Train~

Also, does anyone want to hold up in Denver Wed night and go on to Copper Thursday Morning?

Also, is anyone that is not camping staying somewhere besides Copper Mountain?

Ready to Roll

Batman

If I can't find anyone from St. Louis to go with me, I'll see about making to you. Leaving at 3am is better because of the lack of trafic here, and who needs sleep anyway? Also I want to do a caravan!

And I do plan on stopping in denver, and going up Thursday.

You got an address on that Wal*Mart?

Exit 89 (Schilling Road) on I-135 about 6 miles south of I-70. Go East one light and turn north on 9th. It should be able to be seen from I-135.

1 Week away... Hoping the stars keep aligning correctly.

We will however be heading home Sunday morning instead of Monday. Kids enrolling and moving to college. It's gonna be a busy but fun two weeks.

Let's say 8 ish meet for breakfast somewhere. I'm just sayin 8 as a starting point not knowing everyones sleeping habits. I would be just as happy leaving at 6 and getting breakfast. I was just thinking if everyone did the midnight run Saturday 6 might me a we bit early.

Drive however fast you want I'll catch up at Copper. I'm kind of a mid to back of the pack driver. Usually when I'm runnin alone I run 5 over the posted speed limit.
I'm just a Cooper so it's a little more of a strain for me to run with the "S" dogs.
Although, I have seen triple digits on the speedo it's not a frequent thing for me to try and set any records. With the price of gas a ticket would definately hurt in the ole wallet.
But Hey we can meet in Salina and you can lead us out.

hIT A Road block ~ change of plans for us but still going

We will not be leaving until Thursday A.M. from home. Still traveling to Saline then across I-70. Sorry tried so hard to get a group together in Salina then having to bail. Maybe we'll catch up with someone going across I-70 on Thursday.
Still leaving early A.m. Sunday for return.

Be SAFE

It does appear that this is the case. I will still meet up with you at the start of the Kansas Turnpike if you want and we can go in from there. If you want to leave at a later start time that is fine with me.

If anyone else was planning on meeting and traveling from Salina let us know. We can still do the drive from there at 10:00.

But I will be stopping at Denver.
