These are along / by / near C470 on the WEST side of town. Easy to get to, easy on/off the Interstate system. Also, VERY close to a number of great little foothills roads, and also VERY easy access to the beginning of the WESTERN DRAGON, one of our officially mapped rides that you MAY (read should) want to take on the way up to Copper...and back. Here we go:

• Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Littleton - 12683 W Indore Place - $51 posted internet rate - 720-981-1000 www.hiexpress.com or www.all-hotels.com SONIC Drive-In right across the street. Bank, Grocery, Tire Store next door. All amenities.

In the area where I-25 and C470 meet (Park Meadows Mall area) there are beaucoup choices. Among them:

• Drury Hotel and Suites - Dry Creek and I-25 by the light rail station - includes hot breakfast and cocktail hour - 9445 E Dry Creek Rd - 303-694-3400
• LaQuinta Inn and Suites - Just off I-25 on the East lateral - 7077 S Clinton St
• Quality Suites - Just off I-25 on the East lateral - 7374 S Clinton St
