MOTD Schedule for iCal

I've created iCalendars that can be subscribed to with all MOTD events. This should work with iCal and Outlook and on most smartphones.

I separated them to make them a little easier to view.

Fails with Google calendar for me. Due to robots.txt being blocked.

I'm not sure how to get around that... It looks like google calendars is blocking the iCloud robots.txt... it should work in Outlook and Yahoo calendars.

Actually, that would be Apple blocking access to the robots.txt file.

Maybe I'll just build the calendar using Google.

I opened it in Outlook and then exported it... does it work if you download the ics file and import it? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12306966/MOTD%20Events.ics

It looks like the import works, but the only item that comes thru is an 8:30 entry for today.

I'll try exporting it from home then. Outlook and I don't get along.

Cool. I already have the drives calendar put together in Google. Will work on the other events later.

Here are a couple versions I created:

MOTD 2012 Drives

MOTD 2012 Events

These were created in Google Calendar as the iCloud versions can't be imported into Google calendar (and I was having trouble with Thunderbird on my PC). These may be useful for folks on other platforms.

They are the .ics versions - I usually use .xml and can make that available if someone wants them.

The calendars I created are public, so not sure, but you should be able to find them if you do a search (I've never searched for a public calendar on Google, so not sure how that works).
