hey,
I just got them installed at RSpeed in Marietta, Ga. They were $150 a piece. I don't have center caps YET, I am getting them as soon as I can though cause I hate the rust on the hub. The wheels are 17x7 and weigh 15.5 pounds a piece. The black lettering on the wheels are cheap stickers that fall off easily so don't buy them for the looks of the letters. I love the wheels I just wanted to let everyone know that the letters are going to come off. Mine haven't come off but I am going to take them off so as to prevent the wheels looking cheap. The wheels are high quality, don't get me wrong. I put a new set of stock Pirelli run-flats (i know, i know ) because, and only because, my dad made me (he bought the car so what can I say). But even with the runflats I notice better throttle response (nothing amazing just a little quicker). Here are some pics which you can see at http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/531197

Sweet looking ride. Joe, Hector and Peter are great guys. I can never spend less than 4 hours everytime I stop by.

Very nice, but stock up on windex and carry a lot of clean towels for brake dust...

speaking of cleaning, what is the best stuff to clean painted wheels. This is my first set of painted wheels and I have always used the acidic eagle one (i think) "chrome and wire" stuff on my stock s-lites but won't that hurt a painted wheel. I have already put a old rag in my boot for easy access and instant wheel cleaning power. So 2Cool, you say windex is the best, anyone else agree/disagree. Thanks

I am awaiting my 17" Pro Race 1's in Anthracite to come in, awesome wheel, and a bargain in my opinion. For cleaning wheels, I use simple green, it works like a charm, and won't hurt the finish

looks good. those are pretty agressive looking offset...is that like
a +38mm? I think you made the right choice by going with 205/45/17s.
anything wider might look awkward without a drop due to the offset.

You could sand the hub and paint it gunmetallic...

To clean painted and clear coated (read: OEM and virtually all aftermarket wheels):
Simple Green I like the foam spray, however the liquid Automotive forumla works great too. Put that Eagle One chrome and wire cleaner away ASAP!

Thanks for all the great compliments. I guess I am going to go out and buy some foam simple green and compare it to good ole windex later today, I will tell you what I think works better. About the offest, they are 45mm and my car has the stock springs. I know in that edge picture the tires look close to the fender lip but they really aren't. The picture with my Mini at RSpeed is with the stock S-lites and runfalts in the back, so that is the Mini with 200 pounds (the wheel/tire is said to weigh about 50 pounds a piece) in the rear. I think that stock S-lites are what, 50mm offest, so that makes the new wheels only .2 inches farther out (the track widens by .4 inches). My calculations maybe wrong but what I am saying is that the tire is not going to have rubbing issues with even 215 and for sure not the runflats.

sounds good. I think the white color also pulls it out of the picture more,
so could be why it looked like the offset was more agreesive.

45mm is perfect.

okay, just washed my car for the first time since I got the new wheels. The vinyl "Team Dynamics RACING" stickers did start to fall off when I sprayed them with my water hose (I just have a nozzle, no presure washer) so I used my fingernail and a rag to take all of them off. It took about ten minutes to get all of them off. About the Simple Green vs. Windex: simple green worked 10x better than windex (sorry 2Cool, ) so I am sticking to simple green. I also order some TDR hubcabs from a local wholesaler. They are due in at the end of the week so I will take pictures of my wheels without the lettering and with hubcaps so ya'll can see. I just love my new wheels!! I am getting A LOT more attention everywhere (which is good and bad, cause I like all the ladies staring , but I rather the cops look the other way! ). Peace

Okay, I finally got my center caps and as I promised, I am updating y'all. I tried ordering them from a local shop who said they could have them in a week but after a month I emailed team dynamic (from their contact info on their site). The company guy emailed me back and told me to send him my address and he would ship them to me. And a week later, here they are. FOR FREE. They are black on the edge and have a silver team dynamics logo in the middle. My car is actually at hank aaron mini (getting my xenon fixed) so it will be next week before I have a pic of them on the wheels. I will post the pics then.

Do they make that same wheel in a black color to match a black roof?

I thought I remembered seeing the same wheels in black. Not the grayish anthracite but true black.

Great taste in wheels, just put mine on Thursday - TDR Pro Race 1 White 17" wrapped in Kuhmo Ecsta 712s. I might get around to posting some pics but I have some killer finals that I need to get done first. I'm suffering from that Too much school, Too much work and not enough MINI complex.
