Dash vents fogging windshield

Any time the ac is on and it's humid out the dash vent cause the windshield to cloud up. Any way to turn them short of not using AC? Only time I use AC is when going and coming from work on 90 degree + days.

Try turning the temp up just a little- something I learned from my friend who was an Acura mechanic and my Integra was doing the same thing.

Use vents OTHER than the defrost vents....try the floor, face or a mix...
Happens on ANY CAR....it's physics that condensation forms on the OUTSIDE of the glass....

do you have "automatic" a/c?

you could have a flapper that is stuck and sending the cold air the wrong direction . . .

on the other hand .... are you seeing REAL condensation

or the morning clouding I see when my inside glass needs to be CLEANED?

Sadly I find myself needing to use a commercial car wash on occasion and they typically do a **** poor job on the inside glass.

When I clean my inside glass, I see no 'start up' haze ..... when THEY 'clean' my glass .... any morning it is humid .....

When they screw it up with their 'clean' rags, I have to come back with (real) Windex and newspaper (NO color) to get rid of their residue and the morning haze.

{pssst .... I too live in FL}

Out of curiosity, are you a Captain?

I have a similar car and am local to you. I have no issues. I run face vents, outside air, temp typically on "LO" this time of year and fan speed around 2.

If you think looking at my car might help, let me know.

Jerry

Thanks for the offer. I guess I'll just live with it.

What color are your cars. Maybe I'll see out and about

The R52 is black over malt, the R53 is silver over black.
