The washer went on the shaft, then the gear was pressed on (backwards) with a couple of sockets and the bench vise. I actually made a mistake here but got away with it. The blue socket is on the water pump drive key instead of the actual other side of the shaft I'm pressing the gear on to. I imagine the key is up against a collar but I could use a smaller socket there if I did this again. There is quite a bit of play with this bearing. I tried uploading a video but it just gives me an error
