Welcome to Wild Mouse Mini
Wild Mouse Minis
Starting a new Mini club in the Central Valley, called "The Wild Mice Minis." The area covered will be Stockton to Modesto, and Tracy east to the foothills. I think there's enough Mini's now in this area to warrant it's own club.
PM me if you're interested! If you send me you e-mail address, I'll add it to my list of interested people, so I can arrange a first meeting.

I've read several automotive journalists refer to the handling and accelleration of the Mini, as "wild mouse" like. I believe they're referring to the amusement park roller coaster called "The Wild Mouse."
Also, seems like a fun name. Doesn't sound like a dealership.

There's no limits on where anyone lives or where we do events. From the area planned though, it's at least an hour drive to other Mini club venues for meetings, social events, etc. Even a driving tour will probably start an hour or so away from this area, so using my experience from founding an MG club in the olden days, it feels like the time is right for a club based in this area.
The club will be based on what I call "Organized Anarchy." The less rules the better. Too many rules get in the way of having fun.

Good luck, Jim!
I think any of us who have been in any kind of clubs, knows what happens with too many rules and personality cults. Club death.

Sounds interesting. Am in San Jose though, so wouldn't be able to do alot with the group. But what the hay! I've done rides with several of the local mini groups already. Good luck in getting this group going.
Hi Jim,
I went through the same process in December 2004 forming REME. At the time it was organized to be a club with little or no rules.
Since then it has been evolving into whatever it becomes. Truely an exciting process to watch.
Let me know if you need some help or advice in forming your new club.
