2019 F60 brake bleeder recommendation

2019 MINI Countryman S ALL4 Hatchback
I have a lot of experience bleeding brakes manually with two people, but I never used a power bleeder. (I've never bled brakes proactively, but I'm just trying to follow directions from the mini nag.) There are a lot of different brands and versions of bleeders, almost as bad as buying a vacuum or electric toothbrush, but not quite!

Just looking for one that will work well for my F60.

Appreciate any suggestions - thx

The Motive brand is recommended by an auto tech I use.

Harbor Freight stuff looks like total crap.

^^^ I have a Harbor Freight brake bleeder and it works easily and perfectly. You do need a compressor, however, to use it. I also have a Motive and it doesn't work as well as the HF version.

I have a Schwaben-brand I got on sale from ECS Tuning. Worked perfectly.

I also used a Schwaben hand-operated unit for my 2017 Cooper S. Specifically, this one. And absolutely best plan to use a catch bottle -- I honestly can't imagine doing this job without one of sufficient quantity and with a hanger of some kind (whether product-ized or DIY). I used this one (also a Schwaben product).

I have had good luck with the motiv on my old R55s, and the R53. Have also used it successfully on another R55s and R60s.

I have always relied on vacuum bleeding from the caliper vs power bleed from the reservoir...just my preference and never had an issue, even with ABS style systems. I use a Mityvac MV8500 Silverline kit on all my vehicles, works great and lets me feel a bit more in control for the rate at which you pull the new fluid into the system, YMMV.

I see a lot of complaints regarding the Schwaben cap not sealing and brake fluid squirting out.
There are YT videos showing how rio add an oring inside the cap to help,

This one.

The idiot didn't bother putting a wind muff on the microphone.

Definitely appreciate this. That's the unit I have, and I suppose I got lucky -- no leaks, was at 15psi, did the whole car (and I wasn't exactly fast about it). But the next time around, who knows. I foresee an O-ring in my future.

Thanks much!!
