205/45/17 vs 215/45/17

I am going to be getting new tires for my F56 oem cosmos spoke wheels, and am trying to decide between 205s or 215s. The tire is going to be the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 (205) or the Pilot Sport A/S 3+ (215). They are the exact same price, so it is just a matter of which is going to be best. Anyone have any opinions on what would be best?

I’d go for the a/s 4 in 205 over the
a/s 3+ if I wanted the best all season
choice. Slightly better tire, and the
slightly narrower tread will be better
in rain and snow.
Having said that, what I’d really want
would be the PS4S summer tire in 215
and a good winter tire like the I-ice xi3
or similar on a second set of rims.
That’s what I have on my R55 and on my
wife’s M240i.
