So I pulled the trigger on a full set of tires and wheels from Tire rack using their tire and wheel configuration. I was looking to replace the stock 16” that came on my 2020 F55. I was hoping for a very factor figment compared to the OE 18s

the wheels are 18x8 45mm offset and the tires are 204/40/18. I feel like the tire is way too stretched am I crazy ?

 

Thinking of switching to 215/40/18 for less stretch. Any fitment issues on a stock height S with an 18x8 45mm back spacing ?

any help is appreciated.

 

I’ve gone to NM’s with 225 x 40 x 18, and they fill the 7.5” wheel very nicely. I have never gone with the Mini recommendation of 205’s. I prefer to fill the wheel well better than what Mini/BMW thinks. If they want us to use 205’s then make them fit the wheel well better. Just my opinion, of course.

 

love those wheels.. I was on the fence between those and the ENKEI Tuner. I went with the 18 as well and similar off set but with a 225/40 tire no rub...
