somethingnew - not trying to hijack your thread or be disrespectful, but $400 for used factory wheels that come free/stock on an MCS seems a bit high. Perhaps that's the reason for no responses yet.

If you check some of the other 17" Crown Spoke Wheels for sale you will see that some people are asking up to $1000 for them. These rims don't come free/stock with the MCS. You have to purchase the sport package or just get the rims added on.

Bump again! Cheers

not to be mean or anything but i seen S-lites with tires for 4Bills. But these do look like they are in pretty good shape. except for some minor curbing from what i see in the pictures, but that can always be fixed.

Then they're out of their mind. Nobody is going to pay $1000 for factory rims with no tires, if they do, they need a reality check. I sold my S-Lites (Same wheels without the bolt hole covers) for $250 with runflat tires. The rims had about 1800 miles on them, and were in PERFECT condition.

With tires, $400 could work, but the list of people who are willing to actually "Upgrade" to stock wheels that weigh 23 lbs each is fairly short.

I'm becoming convinced that we need a marketplace policy that says one shouldn't post to a thread in order to undermine the price posted in a FS thread.

If the seller didn't misrepresent the item they are selling, it's up to the potential buyer to make sure it's a a fair deal. That's easily done by searching old thread or asking other members. It's not the responsibility of other members to "chime in" with their evaluation of what's a reasonable price.

Good grief... let's move on.
